This is our favorite casino in the area! It is a great place to check out, not just for gambling, but for restaurants, music, and shopping as well.
Foxwoods is also nearby and is one of the largest casinos in the United States. Also a great place to check out for gambling, shopping at the Tanger Outlets, and a show!
Fishes and more, oh my!
If you want to learn about the rich seafaring history of Connecticut, then this is the place for you. Super cool place to see restoration projects of old wooden ships!

A great place for ice cream!
Arguably some of the best ice cream in the state. Eli recommends the Jonathan Supreme Sundae if you go check this place out!
No trip to Connecticut is complete without some New Haven style pizza. While Frank Pepe's is one of our favorites, New Haven has a lot of awesome places that all compete for the best pie (i.e. Sally's, Moderna, etc.). Also if driving to New Haven is a little far, there is a Frank Pepe's in Mohegan Sun!
Did you know the burger was invented in Connecticut? The burgers are still flame broiled and prepared the original way they were back in 1895.
For burger connoisseurs, check out Ted's for a steamed cheeseburger. As a Connecticut classic, this is a very unique and delicious burger joint.
