Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nicole Jacques and Eli Curry
Connecticut always gets a bad rap for being the boring state in New England, but actually there are a lot of fun things to check out if you know where to look! Here's some of our favorite things to do in the 860!

Mohegan Sun Casino

1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard, Montville, CT 06382

This is our favorite casino in the area! It is a great place to check out, not just for gambling, but for restaurants, music, and shopping as well.

Foxwoods Resort and Casino

350 Trolley Line Boulevard, Ledyard, CT 06338

Foxwoods is also nearby and is one of the largest casinos in the United States. Also a great place to check out for gambling, shopping at the Tanger Outlets, and a show!

Mystic Aquarium

55 Coogan Blvd, Mystic, CT 06355

Fishes and more, oh my!

Mystic Seaport Museum

75 Greenmanville Ave, Mystic, CT 06355

If you want to learn about the rich seafaring history of Connecticut, then this is the place for you. Super cool place to see restoration projects of old wooden ships!

USS Nautilus

1 Crystal Lake Road, Groton, CT 06340

Check out the first nuclear powered submarine!

Ocean Beach

98 Neptune Ave, New London, CT 06320

Eli, his friends, and Nicole have spent many days here in the summer! A small beach, but good place for a dip or walk!

Olde Mistick Village

27 Coogan Blvd, Mystic, CT 06355

A quaint place to check out for shopping and restaurants. Next to Mystic Aquarium!

Downtown Mystic

2 W Main St, Mystic, CT 06355

A pretty area to explore for ice cream, restaurants, shopping and bars. Very nautical and touristy.

Stonington Borough

194 Water Street, Stonington, CT 06378

Plenty of great restaurants and shops to explore. Also very touristy and scenic.

Jonathan Edwards Winery

74 Chester Maine Road, North Stonington, CT 06359

A great place to enjoy some wine!

Stonington Vineyards

523 Taugwonk Road, Stonington, CT 06378

A great place to have a glass of wine and relax, or pick up a bottle to bring home!

Outer Light Brewing Company

266 Bridge Street, Groton, CT 06340

We've been on many a date here!

Tox Brewing Company

635 Broad Street, New London, CT 06320

Good beer and a frog as a mascot, what's better?!

Fox Farm Brewery

62 Music Vale Road, Salem, CT 06420

A great place to grab a beer and hang out on a farm!

B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill

129 North Stonington Road, Mystic, CT 06355

Established in 1881, this is the oldest steam powered cider mill in the United States. It’s a very popular spot for fresh apple cider, hard cider, and cider donuts, attracting tourists from all over the country!

Two Roads Brewing Company

1700 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, CT 06615

One of the largest breweries in the state, and certainly one of our favorites!

Michael's Dairy

437 Pequot Avenue, New London, CT 06320

A great place to check out for ice cream at Mitchell College in New London!

Salem Valley Farms Ice Cream

20 Darling Road, Salem, CT 06420

A great place for ice cream!

UConn Dairy Bar

17 Manter Road, Mansfield, CT 06269

Arguably some of the best ice cream in the state. Eli recommends the Jonathan Supreme Sundae if you go check this place out!

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

157 Wooster Street, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 865-5762

No trip to Connecticut is complete without some New Haven style pizza. While Frank Pepe's is one of our favorites, New Haven has a lot of awesome places that all compete for the best pie (i.e. Sally's, Moderna, etc.). Also if driving to New Haven is a little far, there is a Frank Pepe's in Mohegan Sun!

Louis' Lunch

261 Crown Street, New Haven, CT 06511

Did you know the burger was invented in Connecticut? The burgers are still flame broiled and prepared the original way they were back in 1895.

Ted's Restaurant

1046 Broad Street, Meriden, CT 06450

For burger connoisseurs, check out Ted's for a steamed cheeseburger. As a Connecticut classic, this is a very unique and delicious burger joint.

For all the days along the way
