Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is formal - think longer dresses, jumpsuits, and suits/blazers with dress pants! Lighter colors and florals are particularly welcome for the summery vibe. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and be able to dance!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! When you fill out your RSVP, you can make your food selection for the dinner main course. Please let us know there if you have any specific allergies, and we will make sure to accommodate.

Question

Is there transportation between the hotels and the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing bus transportation from the Blake Hotel in downtown New Haven (where we have our guest room block rates -- see "Travel" page for details!) to the Pavilion prior to the ceremony, as well as transportation back to the Blake after the reception. There will be one bus departing early, around 11:00 PM (although we highly recommend staying through the end of the party if you can!).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a spacious parking lot at the Pavilion for guests who plan to drive themselves.

Question

Can I bring a plus one? Are children invited?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone celebrate with us, due to our small venue size and occupancy constraints, we can unfortunately only accommodate those guests who are listed on your invitation.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 1st! If you know sooner that you will not be able to make it, please let us know as soon as you know! We would really appreciate the notice as it helps us tremendously to plan.

Question

What is the Goodbye Brunch?

Answer

Great question! We are hosting an informal, come-and-go as you please, light brunch at the Blake on Sunday morning, from 9a-12p. This will be a great time to say goodbye to us and all of your (new and old) friends prior to heading out. This is absolutely not a required event! Food will include bagels, pastries, greek yogurt, granola, juice, and coffee.
