We first met in December of 2016 at Soli's fraternity party, though Soli doesn't remember our first short interaction. We met again through a mutual friend at the end of January 2017 and very quickly became inseparable. Nearly nine years later, after growing through different cities, major life changes and chapters of adulthood, we are so grateful for every choice we made that has brought us here. Nicole: We met when we were 18 and have done so much growing up together. Soli has shaped so much of who I am as a person and he is truly my better half and best friend. I have the best time doing absolutely anything with him, and I blame my deepening smile lines on his ability to always keep me laughing. His easy-going personality balances out my stubbornness, but his anger outweighs my own when someone wrongs me (no matter how minor). I'm always impressed by Soli's ability to stay positive, even when life is really testing us (like when all the trains were cancelled on our way to Rome and we got stranded in a small town in Italy with no car), and his ability to always see the best in others. I'm so thankful to have found Soli so early in life. These past ~9 years have been the most fun of my life, and I'm very much looking forward to a lifetime of Soli's unhinged hypotheticals and many more laughs together. Soli: I might not remember the first time I met Nicole- but what she might not tell you is that she did not remember me the 2nd time we met! She was reserved at first but after a while her true colors came out. Over time I realized that Nicole was one of the most compassionate people I have ever met before. I am always amazed at how much she cares for both people and animals. She even introduced Roxy into my life- my 2nd favorite girl. Nicole's care and love for all beings has truly shaped me as a person. She is the white side to my black and white cookie, the home to my heart, and the consistent reason why I smile every day. I cannot wait to continue my adventures with her and spend my life with her.
