What is the Dress Code for the Wedding?

Answer

The Dress Code is Summer Formal, which includes suits for men and mid-length or maxi-length dresses for women. All events are outdoors, so we encourage breathable fabrics. Temperatures will likely drop by nightfall, so ladies may consider a light sweater or wrap for later in the evening.

Where do the shuttles pick up for the Wedding?

Answer

We will be providing complimentary shuttles to and from the wedding venue, picking up at two locations in downtown Santa Barbara: The Drift Hotel - 524 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 (corner of Cota & State near Joe's Cafe) Harbor View Inn - 28 W Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 (on Cabrillo Blvd in front of the hotel) Look for the Santa Barbara airbus!

What time do the shuttles pickup?

Answer

Shuttle pickups run from 3 PM to 3:25 PM at both hotels.

What happens if I miss the shuttle?

Answer

We encourage all guests to take the provided shuttles and to be at the designated pick up locations on time. If the shuttles have already departed and you require your own transportation, the address for Uber/Lyft is 8980 Calle Real. Please note the following: 1) There is no parking available onsite 2) Make the first right turn off Exit 113 onto the private driveway 3) Continue up the hill, through the gate; you will see Tuscan Hills on the left

Can I bring a date?

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests specifically listed on the invitation. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will be keeping the wedding child-free. We recognize some of you may be traveling with your kids, so please reach out if you need help being connected to a babysitting service.

Do you have any travel and hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check the Travel + Hotel page for our link to travel resources and the two room blocks at the Drift Hotel and Riviera Beach House. We have also provided other recommendations to consider. If you are booking an Airbnb or Vrbo, we recommend looking for a house in or around downtown. Private rentals tend to go fast during peak season!

What day should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage you to build an itinerary that works best for your schedule. We will be hosting the Welcome Party on the evening of Friday, August 22, and the wedding itself is Saturday, August 23. We have prepared a reference page for Things to Do in and around Santa Barbara if you plan to stay for extra time on either end of the wedding.
