Formal or semi-formal attire is suggested. But come in what you feel best in! The most important thing to us is being able to celebrate our marriage with you!
Question
What will the weather be like on Mt. Hood?
Answer
June is the the beginning of the summer season on the mountain. We can expect temperatures in the 50-60s with snow on the ground. Alpine weather is variable and mother nature is ultimately in control. Bring your favorite coat and walking shoes or boots. Inside Silcox Hut is warm and cozy, so slip off your jacket and change into your dancing shoes!

What time are the shuttles from Timberline Lodge to Silcox Hut?
Answer
We will have round trip transportation to and from Timberline Lodge and Silcox Hut. Please see your shuttle assignment on the "Schedule" tab. Plan to bring everything you would need for the evening with you. Please do not miss your departure time, as Timberline cannot accommodate additional trips.

Tell me more about the shuttles!
Answer
The shuttles can either be a snowcat or a 4x4 van depending on conditions. Either way, the ride could be a little bumpy, so hold on tight and enjoy the view! Please note, the snowcat is quite tall with a 6-step ladder to get into the cabin. There will be plenty of helping hands around to help you get in and out of either vehicle. We suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes for the travel to and from Silcox Hut.
