I met Alyssa June 16th, 1988. Her face was strawberry red and squishy. I remember thinking she had a lot of hair. So, not the most profound thoughts coming from my two-year-old brain at the time. But I was two! I knew I was meeting my baby sister - there is no way I could have recognized that I was meeting my best friend, one of my heroes, and a piece of my own soul. I remember first meeting Nick in 2018 at Mormon Lake Lodge. It was the last time we would ever take my dad up north to see his old cabin. It was emotional, to say the least. I thought to myself, "After this weekend, this guy is either going to marry her or run for the hills. Clearly, I was right the first time. I could not be more honored to stand beside them as we all meet them again, for the first time, as husband and wife.

It was 2009 when Angel and Nick met. They were introduced by a then mutual friend when they were both at Arizona State. Before they both met, the friend told the two of them, "you guys will never get along, you are both too stubborn and opinionated"... Well the two proved them wrong. For over ten years the two have been there for each other for the good times and bad. Countless performances on stage together, moving days, and even neighbors for a bit. Nick taught Angel about the rules of football and snowboarding. Angel taught Nick about graphic design and photography. With all of the memories, Angel now will be standing up by Nick's side for another soon to be memory.

Tina will never forget the day she met Alyssa. It was during their first West Side Story rehearsal in 2012. Tina fell in love with her stunning voice, amazing personality and big heart. They instantly became fast friends. From singing in the car, to sushi dates, pirates and endless laughter – Alyssa became her friend for life! She has been and will always be her rock, her guardian angel and one of the most important people in her life! Tina is blessed to be able to share this day with her and Nick. Funny story about Nick…Tina was his stage manager when they did Guys and Dolls back in 2002! Tina was so impressed with his dance skills that she started taking some of his Summer of Dance classes! Tina is thrilled to share this day with these two beautiful, talented and amazing people!

Alyssa and I met in a 2013 production of "In the Heights". Closing night you would've seen me crying real tears in our last scene because by the end of the run, our friendship had extended beyond the stage, becoming so familiar as if it had always existed. I believe a best friend is one who is ready to leave the party when you are. We have our fun when we go out; but have just as much fun in PJ's binge watching at home. Favorite moments of us include: eating pizza in the back of a cab, our stellar rendition of "Take Me or Leave Me", the Best Birthday Ever, and our tattoos with the same phrase. Across the miles, no matter how much time passes, I know our bond is unbreakable. It's such a joyous honor to take part in this day with Alyssa and Nick. So much love to the Watermelon of My Heart!

As soon as Kait moved into the Valley, she began to hear the name Alyssa Chiarello ....everywhere. Every audition, every theater party, every show- people would mention her- her beauty, her talent, her kindness. It wasn't until 2019 when Kait was cast alongside Alyssa in Kinky Boots that the two came to really know each other and Kait discovered that this powerhouse of a woman's reputation, though mighty, doesn't hold a candle to all that she is. Fast forward three years later and so much has transpired in that time - a friendship has blossomed into something of unimaginable beauty. Alyssa has taught Kait what the unconditional love of a friend can do to heal a soul. Kait is honored to stand up and watch this angel of a woman marry the man of her dreams.

Jerome first met Nick on April 23rd, 2009 for a company photoshoot. Since then, the two have been there for each other. When Nick had rehearsals and shows in L.A., Jerome took the road trip with him. When Jerome had training and tours in Las Vegas, Nick went to go visit him. When neither of them had family to be with on Thanksgiving, they spent it together. For years the two have spent every Halloween, New Years Eve, Super Bowl Sunday, and many more holidays together. "Loyalty" is the word that defines their friendship. If one calls and asks in need, there are no questions asked; they just show up. Jerome is honored to be able to stand by Nick's side on his important day.

Steven Charles first met Alyssa during a production of In The Heights in 2012. When they discovered their birthdays were on the same day, the rest was history and they became twin flames for life. They lived in New York City together for four years, and while they carried each other through the quarter life crisis of their mid-twenties they also shared a slew of career successes together, had countless laughs, and found ways to make everyday so eventful. When life and gigs separated them physically, they still remained in consistent contact, offering each other gems of wisdom from their significant life experiences. Steven is blessed and honored to be present on this day where love reigns supreme between these two lovely human beings!

I met Alyssa in an ASU musical theatre class. She was a gorgeous transfer student who stood out to me like a goddess amongst the rest of us mortals. I knew right away I needed her in my life. Favorite memories include: Anytime we sang together. Sharing a room in a bedbug ridden apartment in NY. Sunbathing on a scorching rooftop in Harlem. Sipping margaritas by the pool at a resort we snuck into. Teaching her how to properly hold a serving tray (she failed). Our relationship became a type of friendship everyone hopes to have as an adult. We will always be able to find comfort and laughter in each other; for that I am most thankful. She's the real deal. I am so honored to be a part of this important day, and excited for everyday that will follow in her forever after with Nick. I love you.

Cullen and Alyssa met in 2009 as musical theatre majors at ASU where they were placed in the same voice studio and became attached at the hip. Over the years they've shared countless memories: hilarity in the music library, all day coffee runs, dancing at BS West, sipping champagne blasting Lady Gaga painting nails, and sharing multiple performances from the college stage to the professional stage. Cullen played Alyssa's brother in a production of The Secret Garden and became her brother in real life. Always there to laugh with her, cry with her, and hold her hand if she needs it. There's a lifetime friendship with so many inside jokes (A-Bag and C-Bag) they don't remember all of their origins. Cullen is proud to create another lasting memory being part of Alyssa and Nick's special day.
