We took our engagement pictures here and love to take walks around the dam with Koda. There are a number of walking trails through the wooded areas along the river, opportunities for fishing, and even kayak rentals off of the banks. There is a small $6 fee for parking at the gate.

Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park (Anoka cty.)

We love this little local brewery that is right in our neighborhood. If you love craft microbrews or want to try something different (and delicious!) then this hidden gem is for you. We have loved our date nights here and always recommend this brewery to everyone.

10k Brewing

A family owned Mom & Pop styled Italian restaurant with all homemade recipes, what more can we say! We have enjoyed some great date nights here and have never been disappointed, and it is worth the little extra drive. If you are able to visit, we definitely recommend going with an appetite and ordering the meatball supreme!
