Wedding Weekend

The Wedding Website of Hanna Fidler and Nicholas Hellmann
Here’s What to Expect for Our Wedding Weekend We’ve planned a weekend full of celebration and connection, and we’re so excited to spend it with you! The wedding ceremony and reception are the heart of it all, and we truly hope to see you there as we exchange vows by the water and celebrate together that evening. We’ve also included a couple of optional events to make the weekend even more memorable: an Oktoberfest gathering on Friday night and a casual orchard brunch on Sunday. Join us for any (or all!) of the festivities—we’d love to have you. Please make sure to RSVP BY AUGUST 10TH to each event you plan to attend so we can prepare accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Oktoberfest!

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Twin Oast Brewing
3630 Northeast Catawba Road, Port Clinton, OH 43452

The event will take place outdoors on a beautiful grassy lawn, so feel free to dress casually and comfortably for the setting.

A Local Favorite You Won’t Want to Miss! Let's get our German On! There happens to be an Oktoberfest celebration happening at one of our favorite spots, Oast Brewery, the day before the wedding. Oast is a beautiful brewery on Catawba Island, just a short drive away. This island is easily accessible by a land bridge and the venue itself looks like a castle set on a sprawling green lawn. It's perfect for enjoying the fall air with great food, live music, and some award winning brews!. It's the perfect way to kick off the wedding weekend, so we’re inviting anyone who’s interested to join us Friday night for this optional event! Tickets are $10 for adults, and kids 6 and under are free. If you RSVP, we’ll make sure to send you the link to purchase your tickets once it’s available. While the event could sell out, it doesn’t seem likely at this time.

Wedding on the Water

3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

We’re celebrating by the lake up north in the fall—expect a gentle breeze and crisp autumn air! Think cozy layers and warm fall colors like oranges, reds, and yellows. Dresses, ties, fun socks—whatever makes you feel great and ready for the day! Bonus: We’ll take photos by the water after the ceremony. Can’t wait to see your fall-inspired style!

We’ll be tying the knot at Lakeside Chautauqua, at a charming gazebo overlooking the water. Lakeside is very walkable, so you won’t need to drive your car to the gazebo. Guests can simply stroll down Walnut Plaza, the heart of Lakeside’s quaint business district, and head straight toward the lake. As you approach the waterfront, you’ll see a white fence surrounding the putt-putt course. Just to the right is the gazebo where our ceremony will take place. It’s a peaceful, picturesque spot, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Following the ceremony, we’ll head down to the water for photos with our family and friends. This is a great time to mingle, enjoy the view, and get to know one another while we capture some memories!

Sip & Celebrate

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Our wedding is in early October by the lake, where nighttime temperatures typically range from the mid-40s to 50s°F. Evenings can be cool, so please bring layers or a light jacket to stay comfortable and enjoy the celebration with us all night! Our winery reception will be held away from the water in downtown Marblehead.

The Celebration Begins! Get ready for an unforgettable night outdoors at a beautiful local winery located in the heart of downtown Marblehead—set on charming grounds with delicious food, refreshing drinks, lively music, and plenty of dancing! It’s time to let loose, laugh loud, and make incredible memories with all the people we love. We can’t wait to party with you!
