Maid of Honor
Leslie and I met at John Carroll University, where we lived together during our sophomore and senior years. We have experienced it all, from early-morning coffee conversations to late-night fun. Although Leslie now lives in New York City, our friendship has never faded. Let's be honest: we've been planning this wedding since before there was even a groom. I'm so excited to have Leslie as my Maid of Honor on the big day!
Best Man
Eddie and I have been friends since we met in engineering school at the University of South Florida. He is currently an airline pilot and lives in Lakeland, FL, so we try to see each other as often as possible. We share a love for 3D printing, watches, and going to the shooting range. Eddie is the most dependable person I know, and I'm really excited to have him by my side on this big day!
Bridesmaid
Serena and I met while interning at Walt Disney World. Although we had only a few interactions in the office, I could tell right away that I wanted to be friends with her because she was so welcoming. Luckily, Serena invited me to celebrate New Year's Eve with her friends, and we immediately became best friends. She was one of the first friends I genuinely made after moving to Florida, and I couldn't be happier celebrating this big day with her.
Groomsman
Joseph Lakkis and I met while working at Lockheed Martin. Because of our work, we had to travel together frequently, and we made some of the best memories during some of the most challenging experiences of our lives. Tina and I enjoy Lakkis game nights and our many trips to Universal Studios. I trust this man with my life and can't wait to have him celebrate this day with us; just don't ever lend him a Dodge Challenger.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I first met when she came with her family to visit Nick in Orlando. We all went out for lunch, and when we returned, the large sliding glass door at Nick's house shattered into a million pieces. While Nick and his parents dealt with that situation, Ashley and I had the chance to talk for hours, get to know each other, and listen to Grammy's stories (Nick's grandmother). I've loved spending time with Ashley ever since and can't wait for her to be a part of our big day.
Groomsman
Justin is one of the first people I met at USF, and he has supported me through everything. Although Justin lives in Tampa, I enjoy catching up with him on the latest technology news and spending park days together at Disney when we can! I'm excited to have Justin by my side on this day, even if he's disappointed that he can't record it with his Vision Pro!
Bridesmaid
From the moment I met Jera, I knew I wanted to be friends—even before I discovered we were both Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters! Jera has the sweetest heart, and I've enjoyed getting to know her over the past four years. Jera and Ashley are the sisters I never had, and I'm so excited to know that I get to hang out with them for the rest of my life. I'm truly grateful to have Jera by my side on our wedding day.
Groomsman
I met Lee at Lockheed Martin and immediately recognized that he ran the show because of his intellect. He taught me everything I needed to know about transforming tough days into good ones by never underestimating the power of a good joke. I genuinely admire Lee and the example he sets, and I feel privileged to have him by my side on this important day.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met at John Carroll University and became friends instantly when she became my "Big" after I joined Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has been my constant rock through all of life's ups and downs, and I have been fortunate to have her by my side for over a decade. Thankfully, she recently moved to Tampa. I miss her all the time! I am so grateful to have Lauren with me on my special day!
Groomsman
Zach and I met because he is my sister Jera's fiancé. Over the past few years, I've gotten to know him as we share many interests and have a lot in common. I enjoy spending time with him at the beach, hanging out during holidays, and watching him destroy Tina during board game nights. I can't wait to have Zach be a part of this day and to welcome him as a brother-in-law in the future!
Bridesmaid
Jealyn and I met for the first time at Nick's house for a beer and game night. Being the only other girl there at the time, we instantly clicked and have been friends ever since. We've spent countless days working from home together, enthusiastically participating in board game nights at the Lakkis' house and braving the haunted houses each year at Halloween Horror Nights. I am confident we will be friends for the rest of our lives, and it means so much to have her in my wedding party.
Groomsman
David and I met at USF while studying engineering and even lived together for a while. We have likely visited Universal Studios more times than we can count. He has always been there through good and bad times, making COVID-19 a little more enjoyable. After traveling the world, he moved back to Tampa, and it's been fantastic to have him closer to home again!
Officiant
Jack and I met at John Carroll University while completing the MBA program. Surprisingly, our paths never crossed during undergraduate studies, but we became fast friends and have remained that way ever since. My favorite memories include going out for tacos at Barrio every week after our evening grad school classes. I couldn't be happier that my good friend is a part of our wedding day in such a special way.
Matchmaker
Sparkles is the most loved dog on the planet. Although she will not be present on the wedding day, she still deserves a spot here as the matchmaker she is. She divides her time, spending six months in Ohio and six months in Orlando. When she was a pup, she accumulated as many air miles as the most frequent travelers, but now that she's older, she takes road trips twice a year with my parents. Her favorite toys are Abominable, a carrot longer than she is, and her green pull toy. She loves chasing lizards when she's in Florida and enjoys playing in the snow when she's in Ohio.
Mother & Father of the Groom
Vince and Jen live in Oldsmar, FL, just outside Tampa. Vince, who recently retired from the Air Force as a Major General, and his wife, Jen, have lived all over the United States and in several other countries, including Belgium. They enjoy spending time at Clearwater Beach and seeing their kids when they can. Vince and Jen are thrilled to be part of this wedding and look forward to welcoming another daughter into their family.
Mother & Father of the Bride
Brad and Lisa live in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, which is 45 minutes south of Cleveland. They both retired from their corporate careers two years ago on the same day. They enjoy spending time with family, often traveling to their favorite destinations and visiting Christina and Nick in Orlando. Brad and Lisa are excited to help plan their only child's wedding and feel incredibly blessed to welcome Nick into their family.
