Bride
Charlotte grew up in Traverse City, the youngest of the Four Noble Kids. While she followed her siblings around for all their after school activities, she eventually found her own passion in music and performed throughout high school at Traverse City Central, college at Lawrence University, and graduate school at the University of Minnesota. Besides singing, her greatest loves are history and archival work, water sports on the Great Lakes, being “Aunta” to Winnie and Felix, and cuddling with Ragnar... oh and Nick too.
Groom
While Nicky’s birth certificate claims he was born in Racine Wisconsin, his dad will assure you they found him under a rock somewhere near there and brought him home to become the youngest of three. Growing up in Burlington, most of Nicky’s time was spent on the football field, playing for Catholic Central High School, and later Lawrence University. After graduation, he worked first in Wisconsin, and now near Chicago. Nicky loves Mexican food, a good beer, and discussing which of the Star Wars Clone Troopers would win in a fight against Rob Stark.
Matron of Honor
Brittany Lister is Charlotte’s oldest sibling, only sister, and best friend. Mother of Winnie and excellent dermatologist, Brittany is always on the move, going for hikes, playing on the water, and dancing around the living room. She and her husband John moved back to Traverse City in 2018 along with their two labradoodles: Ernie and Liz Lemon.
Best Man
Trevor and Nick met freshman year at Lawrence and became close friends when they were always matched up during football practice. By sophomore year, they had both joined Delta tau Delta and roomed together junior and senior year. After graduation, Trevor briefly moved back home to Las Vegas, but missed Nick so much, he had to move back to Chicago and live with him again. The two are so similar, they both proposed to their girlfriends within weeks of each other, and will tie the knot with a similar timeline.
Bridesmaid
After all the years of Halloweens, birthdays, school dances, graduation parties, summer camp weeks, beach days and sleepovers, Olivia and Charlotte have way too much on each other to ever cross one another. Olivia moved to Traverse City and into Charlotte’s second grade class, cementing the Luciani’s role as Charlotte’s second family. The pair stayed close as ever as Olivia attended University of Michigan, moved to New York to work for the Intermational Crisis Group at the UN, and now Boston, as she completes her Masters in Law and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School at Tufts—yeah, we think she’s impressive too.
Groomsman
Robby is the oldest Ulloa child, and Nick’s only brother. Despite plenty of wrestling matches growing up, Nicky and Robby are very close and live near one another in Lake Bluff. Robby also attended Lawrence University and played for the football team as well. People often say the two brother look alike, and even Ragnar has a hard time telling the difference.
Bridesmaid
Stephy is the only Ulloa daughter and closest to Nick in age. She attended UW-Madison, and spent time in Japan teaching english as a second language. Now back in the states, Stephy is getting a masters in education at the University of Michigan. Stephy loves sharing memes and pictures of Maritza and Ragnar with Nicky, and loves Japanese culture and entertainment.
Groomsman
Charlotte’s younger-older brother, Jack is by far the most clever Noble and Charlotte’s favorite person to “play beanie-babies with.” Jack is an avid skier and cyclist, and makes a mean barbecue sauce. Jack graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in mechanical engineering, and is now working in Kalamazoo Michigan. While Jack was a protective brother who made the new boyfriend prove himself, Nicky is happy he not only got his blessing, but will have Jack stand on his side for the wedding.
Bridesman
While “the wedding” has certainly been annulled, Danny wants everyone to know he was the first to marry Charlotte at the age of 3 in the back of Dr. Noble’s Lincoln Navigator. The two also had big plans to gain fame and fortune from their comic strip “Super Cat and Super Spooky” around 3rd grade, and threw the best Glee watch parties in 9th grade. Since those days, Danny attended the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, and worked for a time in Los Angelos promoting and working for a record label that has signed musicians you’ve certainly heard of.
Groomsman
Born in Escanaba, Jake knew he could never get rid of Nick when Nick became his big in Delta tau Delta. Even when Jake became the president of the fraternity, Nick was quick to remind him who was really in charge. Jake also played defensive back for Lawrence and the two had plenty of time to goof off together on the field. Jake is now back in the U.P. working as a sheriff’s deputy and cooking up Maple Syrup. Jake is also a Green Bay Packers fan—to which Charlotte says “GO PACK GO!” and Nick says “Go Bears” (ugh.)
Bridesmaid
Charlotte and Annie met freshman year at Lawrence, but nothing cemented their friendship like sharing a voice teacher and becoming studio sisters. After Lawrence, both singers attended University of Minnesota for their masters, and Annie has been one of the bright parts of living in Minneapolis for Charlotte. She now works for CBE International, a nonprofit promoting equality among Christians, especially in terms of gender, ethnicity and class. Annie is a talented performer, and will also be singing in the wedding ceremony.
Groomsman
Kyle and Nick grew up together in Burlington, and spent more time together on the football field than apart. Nicknamed “Moose,” Kyle was a hard hitting linebacker for Catholic Central. The two boys were practically brothers, once Mrs. Kresken famously ‘grounded’ Nick by making him help Kyle with chores. After school, Kyle joined the US Army, where he met his wife Lexis. The two and their daughter Naomi have moved back to their hometown where Kyle coaches the CCHS team he once played for, and works with his father for the Kresken Concrete Co.
Flower Girl
Winnie, Charlotte’s first niece, will be just shy of her 2nd birthday when she makes her Flower Girl debut. A big lover of berries, wagons, the park and singing Old McDonald, Winnie is the busiest little girl you’ll ever meet. Charlotte and her have a special bond, and they love to remind everyone Winnie’s first word was “Aunta!”
Assistant to the Flower Girl
Because the Flower girl has a lot on her plate, her one and only Daddy will be helping out! John has been a part of the Noble family since marrying Brittany in 2013. He also attended University of Michigan for undergrad and law school, and now enjoys living in TC, running, keeping up with Michigan sports, mixing drinks with his sister-in-law, and being the best girl-dad around.
Bride’s Ring Bearer
Born on August 13 2020, just days after Charlotte and Nicky got engaged, the youngest Noble will have a very important role carrying Charlotte’s ring down the aisle.
Groom’s Ring Bearer
The first and only daughter of groomsman Kyle, Nick’s goddaughter will be bringing his ring down the aisle. Four going on five, Naomi is as sassy as she is precious.
Assistant to the Ring Bearers
Danielle joined the Noble clan when she married David in 2017. Now however, she is enjoying her time in Charlottesville being a extraordinary dentist, mother to Felix and book worm (she and Charlotte love to swap reading recommendations!). She will be assisting Felix and Naomi in their very special Ring Bearers responsibilities.
Special Prayer
Charlotte’s eldest brother, David is currently an Orthopedic surgery resident in Charlottesville, Virginia. As if that couldn’t keep him busy enough, he is also father to little Felix. Nicky and Charlotte feel so blessed to have him contributing to the ceremony with a special prayer.
Special Poetry Reading
Clara and Charlotte were best friends from the very start and have remained close since they were teeny tiny. Charlotte proudly watched as Clara excelled studying English at Grinnell College, receiving multiple prizes for her writing, including Selden Whitcomb Prize in Poetry. Her poetry ties the natural world and human experience, and Charlotte and Nicky are honored to have her composing a piece for the wedding ceremony. For more information on Clara’s writing and activism, visit https://www.claratrippepoetry.com/
Officiant
Dr. David Walls has been special to the Noble family for a long time, and officiated both of Charlotte’s siblings weddings. A decorated Biblical Scholar, Dr. Walls now spends part of his time in Traverse City preaching at Honor Congregational Church, and part of his time teaching at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida.

Best Boy
Ragnar was born one chilly December night in the basement of Apple Valley Pit Crew’s founder (and Nicky’s former teammate) Taylor Mandich, and three weeks later when Nicky and Charlotte came to look at the puppies, they knew it was meant to be. His mother Maritza was also adopted into the family when Nicky’s mom brought her home a few months later.
