Things To Do

Rosarito is a laid-back coastal town in Baja California, about 45 minutes south of the San Diego–Tijuana border. It’s known for ocean views, great food, and surf culture. 1. Visit Puerto Nuevo (Lobster Village) A short drive south of Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo is famous for its lobster served with rice, beans, and handmade flour tortillas. After dinner, stroll the small shops and grab ice cream or traditional Mexican sweets. 2. Explore Local Art Rosarito has a growing art scene, with galleries and exhibitions along Benito Juárez Boulevard featuring work from local and international artists. 3. Shop Local Crafts The Popotla artisan district is a great place to browse handmade ceramics, Talavera pottery, metalwork, and other locally made goods. 4. Restaurants & Bars We Recommend El Encanto, Colectivo Surf, Sin Fronteras Brewery, Marea Alta, Splash, Plaza Food Fest, Sokuna, Ollie’s Pizza, Bleu Galley, and Raíces Baja are some of our favorite spots.
