If you know us, then you know neither of us can sit still for too long, so it's very fitting that we met on a beach—sweaty and covered in sand. It all started when our mutual friend, Jonny Barrales, invited Nichelle to join a beach soccer team that DJ had started. After our first game, we wandered over to a local legend of a bar, Panama Joes (if you know, you know), to split a pitcher of beer. No one else from the team could make it, so it ended up being just the two of us. And let’s just say... beer wasn’t the only thing brewing that afternoon. It wasn't long before friendship blossomed into love, and it all just clicked. Looking back, there really couldn't have been a more perfect way to meet our person: sweaty, sand-covered, and sippin' a beer. Honestly, not much has changed since.
