We know, it's a lot to ask people to come all the way to New York for a party - but we decided to celebrate in a more casual way that highlights the best part of the wedding, the drinking and the dancing. We also figured our wedding can be a great reason to visit NYC for the weekend. Leave all that ceremonial shit to our families that have to sit through it ;). Also we're pretty sure that anyone who wants to keep the party going will find plenty of ways to do so, Bushwick and Williamsburg have a ton of bars and clubs that people can relocate to after the official festivities.
Uber/Lyft is the best way to get to LoHi. If you're staying in Williamsburg, it should be no more than a 10-12 minute car ride. LoHi is also accessible by Subway - take the L train (grey line) and get off at the Montrose Ave stop. It's about a 6 minute walk from the station. While we don't recommend driving your own car, there may be street parking available if this is your preference.
While we love all of your children, there will be no children at this wedding outside of specified family members.
We had a hard time narrowing down our guest list so unfortunately we ask that you do not bring a date.
We want everyone to be comfortable! The reception is at a rooftop bar so just wear whatever you'd wear for a night out in the city. Refer to the Pinterest board for examples! https://pin.it/2Ilc2M1
We do appreciate anyone who would like to purchase a physical gift, but we are only accepting donations to our wedding fund. We're fortunate enough to be getting married at a time where we have everything we need living in a city that isn't known for storage space. Donating to the wedding fund is completely optional but greatly appreciated!
