Lancaster Central Market
Central Market is one of America's oldest farmers' markets that offers a unique culinary shopping experience. It is a hub for farm-fresh produce like Dutch sausage, scrapple, preserves, pickles, freshly-baked breads, desserts and other local specialties. A feature on the National Register of Historic Places, it is arguably one of the best fresh markets in the country. Open Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The Demuth Museum
Museum dedicated to the paintings of Charles Demuth located in his former studio and home at 120 East King Street. The museum offers a rotating view of a permanent collection which Charles Demuth originals as well as artists and works that present a Demuth connection in the areas of theme, technique and epoch.
Thistle Finch Distillery
Experience a hidden world where nostalgia and libations rule. Only a short walk away from the heart of downtown Lancaster. Learn about history and process of distilling by attending a tour or grab a drink and bite to eat. Public distillery tours on a regular schedule - Saturday Tours: 1:00pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm / Sunday Tour: 1:00pm. Tours typically take just under an hour, include a tasting of our currently available spirits and cost just $10 per person.
