It was 2010 and senior year for two teens by the names of Chau and Richard who were getting ready to soak up their summer full of fun. Chau spent her summer days with friends and her sister, Nhi, and cousin, Gina. The three were often together going on wild adventures and creating memories left and right. Richard, on the other hand, spent his summer days video gaming with friends. It was another summer day for Chau except this one day became a prominent one. It was the moment she crossed paths with Richard. The two were introduced by Gina at a summer pool party. From that moment forward, the two became inseparable as they spent their summer days going to the movies, shopping, and the beach. It was an amazing summer out of many these two have shared. Thirteen years later and the two continue to be attached by the hip.

It's "Chau" fashion to know the proposal was coming as Richard continued to ask her questions about cats. The two had already started their family with fur baby, Mochi, so Chau had a feeling she was getting another cat. Let's fast forward to the "surprised" proposal, shall we? In the summer of 2023, Chau spent her evening having dinner and drinks with friends. Richard had plans to surprise Chau with the proposal but only to be surprised himself as he discovered she would not be back until later that evening. It was typical Chau to arrive home 3 hours later and proceeded to talk on the phone with the same friend before actually going the bedroom (where the proposal was taking place). After saying YES, Richard surprised Chau with the best engagement gift and new addition to their family, a kitten named Tomo!
