Rebekah is originally from Michigan's Upper Peninsula, from a small town called Sault Ste. Marie. She moved to lower Michigan when she was 9, and lived in Michigan for most of her life. She has also lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and New York City, but now resides with her partner Daniel in London, UK. Rebekah works as a clinical scientist and is training in the area of Bioinformatics. She enjoys ballet, baking, reading, films and video games.
Daniel Embers
Groom
Daniel is from Hendon, London and has lived in London and Hertfordshire all his life. He is a recent graduate of Middlesex University with a BA in Practical Filmmaking. Daniel has dreams to become a Cinematographer and has several wonderful short films in his portfolio already. In addition to filmmaking and everything film photography, Daniel enjoys hanging out with his cats and his friends, playing video games, and relaxing at the pub over a pint and a packet of crisps.
Rachel Polet
Maid of Honor
Rachel is living the dream as an Interior Designer working in New York City, but before her big city lifestyle she was Rebekah's roommate back in Grand Rapids. When they lived together, Rachel was still working a dead-end job and desperately wanting to change careers. Rebekah was inspired to follow in Rachel's footsteps and move to New York City after she saw Rachel chase after the life she wanted. In her free time, Rachel is training for a half marathon, loves NYC food & nightlife, and adores her cat Millie. R&R have been inseparable besties even through living in different cities, a global pandemic, and ever so many life changes. Rebekah is blessed to have Rachel by her side at her wedding as her Maid of Honour.
Theo Galler
Best Man
Theo has been Daniel's close friend since they were 16 in sixth form where they bonded over music, and playing in a band called "The Frees" named after the free periods they had at school where instead of studying they just played Kings of Leon covers. Theo studied at Brighton and then later at Brunel, specialising in flood management. It is lucky he will be on hand at the wedding as Daniel will be in floods of tears.
Jessi Clark
Bridesmaid
Rebekah's big sister Jessi is a Director of an ultrasound school in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as a wife to her husband Jeron and a mom to her three kids, Brayden, Madison, and Riley. Rebekah misses the days she lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was within driving distance of her sister! They love spending family time together, playing games and baking cookies with the kids. Jessi is living her best life travelling the world, visiting Disney World as often as possible, and killing it as a wonderful mother, sister, and friend.
James Noble
Groomsman
James is another close sixth form friend of Daniel's, the incomparable bassist of "The Frees" and all round lovely individual. He has studies Astrophysics at university in Bristol. He now is living upon a narrowboat which he has successfully converted from a diesel engine to an electric one and still is an incomparable bassist.
Amelia Embers
Bridesmaid
Amelia is Daniel's younger sister. She is an incredibly talented, charismatic and hardworking individual. Amelia is currently second in charge at her nursery and she is specialising in the development of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. She loves her new "Post Box Red" Peugeot 208 and enjoys taking care of her growing collection of indoor plants, all of which have first names. Amelia has really welcomed Rebekah since her move to London - Rebekah is so happy to be gaining another sister!
Dr. Samuel Kent
Groomsman
Dr Samuel Kent and Daniel have known each other for over 12 years. Many an adventure can be had in the good doctor's company. Sam studied design in Brighton and is now an accomplished carpenter and timber framer. He now lives down in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Caitlin Lambert
Bridesmaid
Rebekah met Caitlin while living in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two bonded over political activism, a love of reading, and an addiction to the Sims games. Caitlin now lives in DC with her partner, Ben. She is a superstar in her career in Sales Enablement and has gained promotion after promotion. Caitlin loves to travel, try new things like painting classes, and attend all sorts of meetup groups! Now long distance friends, Caitlin inspires Rebekah to get her numbers up on Goodreads. Rebekah feels honoured to have such an intelligent, kind, and loyal friend by her side on her wedding day!
Stefan-Marc Seymour
Groomsman
Stefan is Daniel's oldest friend. Since their meeting in 2010 at school they have had many adventures at home and abroad, in Portugal. Stefan is qualified Chartered Surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield in London. He enjoys a salmon and cream cheese bagel and an earl grey tea.
Donna Newman
Mother of the Bride
Donna, the lovely mother of the bride, is also a sister, a wife, and a grandma. When she's not traveling to attend contemporary Christian music shows (she is Switchfoot's #1 fan) she keeps herself busy as a part time manager at a fabric store. She loves sewing costumes for her grandkids, using her artistic skills to design activities at her church, and loves a nice relaxing evening on the couch with her two kitties, Sam & Noodles. We love you Donna!
Alison Went
Mother of the Groom
Mother of the groom, Alison, has lived in North West London all of her life. Family is the most important thing to her, and she raised her two children, Daniel and Amelia, with a lot of love. Her favourite place is Cornwall, a place with many treasured memories of holidays with her Mum & Dad and her children. We love you Alison!
Bradley Newman
Father of the Bride
The father of the bride, Brad, is known for being a jack-of-all-trades with unforgettable dad jokes. He is a now retired Project Manager for the University Rebekah attended, Grand Valley State University. When he misses planning projects, he applies his know-how to lead up improvement projects at his church and around the house. He is very likely to be found playing chess or his guitar for hours at a time. He's not a huge fan of travelling - unless it's to follow Donna to rock concerts - so it's a huge honour to have him make the trek to be involved in our wedding! We love you Brad!
Brayden Clark
Ring Bearer
Rebekah's nephew Brayden is now 12 years old and in the 6th grade. On top of being an academic superstar, Brayden is a natural athlete and excels in any sport he tries. Baseball is his fave, though! He also enjoys playing the saxophone in concert band. He loves to play video games with his friends or play with his sisters, Riley and Madison. Thanks for being our responsible Ring Bearer, Brayden!

Flower Girl
Rebekah's niece Madison will be joining our wedding party as a Flower Girl! Madison is a super cool 10 year old and is in the 4th grade. She loves everything girly - manicures, Sephora hauls, and Stanley cup accessories have Madison's name written all over them! Madison also loves babies, her writing class, anything purple, softball and baseball!
Riley Clark

Riley is 7 years old and in the 1st grade, and she can't wait to join us as our Flower Girl! Riley is always the life of the party with her hilarious and bold personality. She loves animals, especially dogs and cats! She loves going to her dance classes and enjoys math in school. She has a big imagination and loves her family very much!
