Melody and Sydney met in 2019 at a SkillsUSA Conference when they were in high school. In passing, they friended each other on social media. Two years later, they discovered they had several college classes together at Arkansas State University, and were majoring in the same program. They quickly became friends, and can pretty much speak telepathically at this point.

Ella and Melody met in seventh grade. The two met in English class and the rest is history. They have been through the best of times and the worst of times, and even when they go months without seeing each other, it’s as if no time has passed.

Sabrina Parks

Sabrina and Melody met in 10th grade officially, and became friends shortly after. Since then, Sabrina has accompanied Melody on several vacations and road trips. She is the best copilot/backseat driver anyone could ask for, especially on the eight-lane, where she has DEFINITELY prevented multiple car accidents while Melody was behind the wheel. In February of 2023, they became step sisters. How convenient!

Aly Moore is one of Justin’s step sisters. Melody and Aly met in 2020 when Justin brought Melody home to his family for the first time. Aly is charismatic and always brings the fun (and sass) everywhere she goes. Melody could not be more thankful to be gaining such a sweet second family.

Niece of Justin Newton and daughter to James, Emma will be walking as a Junior Bridesmaid. Emma is always wearing a smile, and you can count on her to bring the fun. Melody is so happy to be gaining such a beautiful, sweet niece.

Naomi is the daughter of James Newton, Justin’s brother, and Samantha Brown. Niece of Justin Newton, Naomi is easily the cutest member of the wedding party.

The man. The myth. The legend. Oakley is the furry, four-legged, son of Melody and Justin. He will be coming down the aisle with the rings. If he so happens to stop in the middle of the aisle and run up to you, he most definitely just wants some pats. Feel free to humor him, after all, he has no idea what’s going on. Ever.

Jackson and Justin met through Melody's mutual friend, Sydney Green. Jackson and Sydney attended high school together, and when Melody and Sydney became best friends, Jackson and Justin's friendship soon followed. He is one of the best friends Melody or Justin has ever had, and is one of the genuinely best people they have ever met.
