The closest thing Newlin's ever had to a sister. They've known each other since they were playing dress up and having sleepovers in the top bunk of Isabel's childhood bed. Been through it all together, including braces, watching Titanic 43 times, driver's permits, sneaking out, graduations, moving to NYC, and more. Isabel was even there for the engagement.

Isabelle and Newlin became inseparable about two weeks after they moved into their sophomore-year apartment. They survived college and college parties together, studied abroad in London together, explored Paris, San Francisco, and Seattle together, and even though they live on opposite coasts, they text each other every day. She's the only person Newlin could share a 5ft x 7ft room with in a foreign country. Sometimes they even communicate with just a look.
Kathleen Walsh
Bridesmaid
Kathleen and Newlin's friendship began about 4 hours after they met and discovered they shared a mutual love for Downton Abbey. They solidified this friendship by visiting Highclere Castle, where the show was filmed, about four months later. They both recall it as one of the best days of their lives. Kathleen has traveled on numerous trips with Jeremy and Newlin, including a frozen New Year's Eve in Montreal. She is both a voice of reason and all around hype woman.

Sarah and Newlin met in London where they also shared an apartment with Kathleen and Isabelle. Her brilliant humor and kindness make her an invaluable friend. Newlin has never laughed harder than when she's with Sarah. They share a love for rollercoasters, dogs, Harry Potter, and the beautiful state of Maine - the site of both their weddings.

It all started with Hayden; without her, Jeremy and Newlin might never have met. One night Newlin and Hayden were hanging out at their apartment hot tub - as ASU students do - and Hayden told Newlin about Austin's friend Jeremy. The rest is history. Newlin gives Hayden all the credit for teaching her how to cook without destroying everything. And Newlin was honored to be a bridesmaid in Hayden's beautiful Arizona wedding to Austin.
Cody Unger
Best Man
Jeremy may still consider Cody his "little brother" (by eight minutes), but it's hard to imagine life without his twin. But let’s clear a few things up first. No, Cody and Jeremy can not read each other's minds. No they are not identical, but you could be forgiven for not noticing the little differences. And although they both share a love for politics and soccer, they don’t have to do every single thing together. While Cody has stayed on the West Coast since high school, he continues to challenge Jeremy to dream bigger and has always been there as a voice of support, honesty, and friendship. There's no other person Jeremy could consider for his best man than him.

Jeremy wasn’t so sure about Ed when he met him on the first day of freshman year at NYU, particularly since he was a Yankees fan (and that’s always a bad sign). But what started as a random roommate assignment turned into four years of crazy adventures living together through college, competing together in collegiate swimming and water polo, and becoming best friends in New York City. Ed and his family have taken Jeremy in over the years for countless holiday celebrations as an honorary brother, and last year Ed asked Jeremy to be one of his groomsmen at his wedding in Central Park. Now Jeremy is happy to return the favor next year in Maine.
Michael Mann

Michael and Jeremy have been friends for as long as they can remember, living down the street from each other until they graduated high school. While Michael was always the stubborn one in their neighborhood gang, he was also always there for video game marathons with Cody and friends as kids, late night basketball games in high school, and a drink (and maybe another video game marathon) whenever Jeremy came home for the holidays in college. Jeremy always looks forward to visiting Michael in sunny San Diego, and expects him to be a good tour guide when he visits next year for his bachelor party.
Connor Byrne
Groomsman
Connor and Jeremy met through the rec swim league they both swam in growing up, and while they no longer see each other at the pool, Connor and Jeremy still love to banter back and forth just like they did between swim sets. After serving as co-captains of their high school swim team, Connor and Jeremy stayed close in college, venturing on a month-long backpacking trip through Europe their senior year. Now it so happens both are getting married in the same year. In May, Jeremy will be Connor’s best man at his wedding - it’s only fair that Connor return the favor by serving as one of Jeremy’s groomsmen in August.
Justin Sawrey-Kubiceck

Jeremy and Justin met through his brother’s baseball team, and while he may have gotten to know Cody first, Justin and Jeremy have become close friends since. Many things have changed since those days - Justin has lost the signature afro that made him famous at school, and Jeremy moved on from a truly horrid bowl cut. But “J” and “Jem” have remained close friends through it all. Although they love on opposite coasts, Justin and Jeremy thankfully share a joint love for exploring new cities, and no one has enjoyed their visits to New York City as much as Justin.
John Tillotson
Usher
John came into Newlin's life when she was nearly two years old. And Newlin dubbed him "Kicker," a nickname he grew into when he took up soccer. He was Newlin's first friend. John has always been calm, cool, and collected. He's also been known to trick Newlin and Rees into strenuous outdoor activities and hikes.
Rees Tillotson

When Rees first came home from the hospital, Newlin was distressed at the fact that he was not a sister. At almost four years old, she sat there looking at him in his bassinet and told her parents, "He is turning into a girl." Alas, he never did, but after outgrowing the annoying little brother phase they've become close siblings and friends. They've had some fun times visiting each other in their respective cities (Rees resides in Philly), and enjoy trying out new coffee shops and breweries together on travels.
Carlina Rivera
Officiant
Besides being Jeremy's boss and a friend of Newlin's, Carlina Rivera is a Member of the New York City Council, representing District 2, which includes the Manhattan neighborhoods of the East Village, Flatiron, Gramercy Park, Rose Hill, Kips Bay, Murray Hill, and the Lower East Side. Carlina and Jeremy first met in 2017 at a rally to close New York City's failing jail on Rikers Island. Carlina was running for office at the time, and Jeremy, being immediately impressed, volunteered to help her campaign on the spot. Eight months later, Carlina was being sworn into office, and she has since become an important person in both Jeremy and Newlin's lives. Her friendship and advice, on relationships personal and political, made her the perfect choice to officiate Jeremy and Newlin's wedding.
