Driving To The Wedding

Guests who are driving to the wedding can park at the Totman Library and Phippsburg UCC Church parking lots next to the Inn. Guest parking is only available from 1 PM-9 PM on August 28. No overnight parking is permitted.

Shuttle

Shuttles/Taxis To and From Bath to the 1774 Inn

For those who do not wish to drive, we have hired a shuttle bus that can seat 14 people to bring guests from Bath to the 1774 Inn. SHUTTLES TO THE WEDDING The 1st trip will depart the Bath Hampton Inn at 1:50 PM, stop at the Marriot Residence Inn Bath at 2:05, before arriving at the 1774 Inn at 2:15. The 2nd trip will depart the Hampton Inn at 2:35 PM, stop at the Marriot at 2:45, before arriving at the 1774 Inn at 3:00. SHUTTLES AFTER THE WEDDING Shuttles will depart from the 1774 Inn for the Hamtpon Inn and Marriot Residence Inn at 9 PM & 9:45 PM. Please make sure you are available for either shuttle, as there is limited capacity and shuttles can not make additional trips. TAXIS There are very limited taxi services in Bath. If you do need a taxi, we recommend reaching out to Brunswick Taxi ahead of time at (207) 729-3688. We have reserved 2 taxis that can seat 7 people, however any additional taxis that are needed may not be available or may take significant time for a pick-up.

Airbnbs

There are plenty of options for Airbnbs and other home rentals in the Phippsburg/Bath/Brunswick area. When choosing a location, you should consider the distance from the 1774 Inn and downtown Bath. Many of the roads to neighboring towns on the nearby peninsulas can be small, two lane roads that can take longer than expected to travel.

Flight

Flying To Maine

Most people who are flying to the wedding will fly into either Portland International Skyport or Boston Logan International Airport. If you're flying to Portland from outside of the Northeast, you will likely have to change planes on your way, so you may also want to consider Logan. The drive from Boston to the 1774 Inn is roughly 2 hours.

Train

Taking the Train to Maine

If you're interested in taking the train from either Portland Maine or Boston, the Amtrak Downeaster is your car-free connection to Brunswick, Maine, which is a short 15 minute cab ride to the 1774 Inn. The train ride from Boston to Brunswick takes about 3 hours, and the trip from Portland is about 45 minutes. If you're interested in exploring other parts of New England, you can make easy connections to other trains in Boston.
