Richmond International Airport

Richmond International Airport (RIC) is the best airport for those flying into Richmond. There are direct flights to Richmond from most major Midwest and East Coast airports. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Richmond. For those arriving at the airport, an Uber, taxi, or rental car is recommend

Flight

Dulles International Airport

For those flying from international destinations, or from the West Coast that do not wish to have a connecting flight to Richmond, Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the best option. Via rental car, downtown Richmond is about a two and a half hour drive from Dulles. Alternatively, guests could to Amtrak train (see below). However, we strongly recommend flying directly to Richmond.

Amtrak - Main Street Station

For guests living in the Northeast, Amtrak is an alternative to flying. Richmond is about 2 hours from Washington D.C. and 7 hours from New York by train. We recommend guests arrive at Richmond - Main Street (RVM), due to its location in downtown Richmond. There is another station in Richmond, Staples’ Mills (RVR), however it is a 30 minute drive from downtown Richmond.
