This hike is approximately a 30-minute drive and 2 miles out and back. The trail runs along the water making it the perfect place to stop off along the way to cool off. The end of the hike features a natural water slide and swimming hole. The perfect hike for non-hikers. Suggested attire: Clothes and tennis shoes that can get wet or bathing suit. Ladies: Longer shorts recommended so you don't give yourself rug burn on the natural waterslide
This is about a 10 minute drive from the cabins but we wouldn't recommend any of the places right in town.
This is the most challenging of our suggestions but probably our favorite. You will need a high-clearance vehicle for this activity. The drive to the trailhead is 14 miles on a rocky, dirt road and will take 60-90 minutes. The hike is approximately 2.5 miles out and back and does require you to wade through the river. We suggest bringing lunch and beverages to enjoy at the hot springs.
