Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Sarah Salcido-Lopez

Matron of Honor

Sarah and I met while doing youth ministry at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church our senior year of high school. But we became instant best friends after getting our faces painted at Disneyland the summer of 2011. Whether we are closing down Pat O'Brien's in NOLA, sitting in the 6th row at Pantages for Hamilton's initial West Coast run, or having heartfelt conversations over hot tea at her kitchen island, I can always count on Sarah for a good time. Make sure you thank her and Morgan for creating my Bumble profile all those years ago!

Ben Fueger

Best Man

Ben is my best man and go-to person to make ridiculous Major League Baseball bets before the start of each season. We've known each other since high school and went to college together, where we were roommates all 4 years. Ben currently resides in Colorado, and was the first person I told when I bought Nicole's engagement ring.

Halina Carrera

Bridesmaid

I've known Halina since elementary school but she officially became my sister-in-law July 2021. Her keen sense of style has transformed her and my brother's home into a West Elm centerfold. Her and Doug have also inspired my running journey over the years. She accomplished one of her bucket list items and ran in the coveted Boston Marathon this year!

Doug Negrete

Groomsman

Doug is Nicole's younger brother and is well known for his love for the outdoors. He frequents different National Parks with his wife, Halina, who is also in the wedding party. Fun Fact: "Doug" is the groom's nickname from college, so don't get confused if he also answers when people yell out his name.

Alison Hakola

Bridesmaid

Alison and I met shortly after James and I started dating. Over the years, we have bonded over our love of red wine, IG reels, and watching our guys freak out about sports. She's the best dog mom to Mission Bay's favorite dog, Moose.

Kyler Hakola

Groomsman

Kyler is my brother in law and also a native Northern Californian, and because of this, it's easy to talk Giants baseball. Unfortunately, he succumbed to the 49ers fanbase and has been waiting for a Super Bowl victory since 1995. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Morgan Iwasaki

Bridesmaid

I also met Morgan through ministry at St. Paul. We spent many, many summer days in our early twenties on Main Street USA enjoying Dole Whips and Mickey Mouse shaped cream cheese pretzels. It's not uncommon for me to randomly text her at the EXACT moment she is texting me. Fun fact, she is getting married exactly one week after we are!

Nate Ragaisis

Groomsman

I met Nate back in high school as well, where we used to carpool to freshman baseball practice each day. We were roommates for a semester in college before he transferred to Concordia University Texas to play golf. He met his now wife, Sarah, in Texas so the move worked out very much in his favor. He still resides in the Austin suburbs and is one of our Nation's valued first responders.

Anissa Garcia

Bridesmaid

Anissa is my younger cousin and the designated party planner in our family. She is the queen of appetizers and always has a new dish on our holiday table. She has the busiest social calendar of anyone I know. She inspires me to live my best life daily. I'm so glad she decided to stay in Southern California!

Steven Smith

Groomsman

Everybody knows Steven (Smitty), but if you don't, you will by the end of the wedding night. We were roommates in college and is the life of the party. His high IQ of sports knowledge rivals the best of us so feel free to throw out sports facts when you see him!

Sam Sapien

Bridesmaid

Technically, Sam and I met my junior year of high school-her freshman year of high school- in Mr. Garcia's Biology class at Chino High School. Sam will tell you that she was scared of the upperclassman who sat in the back of the class with her letterman jacket and high pony tail. She is a fiercely loyal friend and her dirty lavender matcha lattes fueled many of my late night study sessions.

Stephen Ferry

Groomsman

Stephen is one of my former roommates from College, and a transplant from Wisconsin. Anyone from the midwest will tell you they have the best humor, but Ferry truly can make light of any situation. He's a fellow Green Bay Packer fan and is currently getting what seems to be his 7th graduate degree from the University of Denver.

Marie Directo

Bridesmaid

Marie was my facilitator on my Confirmation 2 retreat my junior year of high school. She has been like a mom to all of our friends, making sure we always ate before a night out in Vegas, reminding us to bring a jacket because it's going to be cold, and packing us leftovers after a potluck. But don't let that fool you, she's also the first one on the dance floor ready to have a good time!

Chris Brooks

Groomsman

Chris was a free agent signing for our Concordia Irvine flag football team, where he put up some crazy rushing/receiving statistics which led to 2 intramural championships. He's always keeping busy whether it's his job, going to sporting events, or driving in his sweet new Tesla. He's been in Southern California pretty much his entire life and is an overall great dude.

Meesa Estuar

Bridesmaid

Meesa was my facilitator on my Confirmation 1 retreat my sophomore year in high school. From high school and college graduations, vacations, and now marriages, growing up with her has been such a sweet sweet ride. I can always count on her for a good spreadsheet, planning binder, or a comfy pair of sweatpants.

Bryan Meyer

Groomsman

I met Bryan back in 8th grade when I first moved down to Southern California. We continued our friendship through high school where we did pretty much everything together. He is now a true Colorado resident with his love of the outdoors, Birkenstocks, and his beard. Even though he now lives out of state, we can pick up conversations like he never left.

Dan Degree

Groomsman

Dan is the man. He was my freshman baseball warm up partner every day back in high school. He's pretty much better than the rest of us at different activities, no matter if that's corn hole, foosball, skateboarding, or ultimate frisbee. Dan barely beat me out in getting married, as he will be tying the knot in September in Temecula.

Ruthann Ragaisis

Flower Girl

Ruthann is the daughter of one of the groomsman (Nate), and she assures us that she checked YouTube videos of how to be the best flower girl this side of Texas.

Noah Tranberg

Ring Bearer

Noah is Nicole's Godson and our officiant's son. He is thee most chill toddler and loves his INO burgers just like his Nina Nikki and Uncle James

Tim Tranberg

Officiant

Timothy James (not to be confused with the groom James Timothy) is Nicole's older cousin. Growing up, the Tranberg and Negrete families lived less than 15 minutes from each other so he and his older brother, Jacob, were like older brothers to Nicole. The two even gave Nicole her first driving lesson in 8th grade (promise we were safe Mom and Dad!). Tim is also a Green Bay Packer fan so he and James always talk shop during the fall. We asked him to be our officiant because we've watched him be a great husband to his wife Nicole, and father to his son Noah.
