We joined a desert tour near Dubai, by the Omani border. We went dune crashing on ATVs and our wonderful tour guide took some epic photos of us at sunset.

We attended a wedding of friends with the beautiful Istanbul horizon in the background.

Portugal was our first major trip together. We visited Lisbon and Porto and drove through the southern coast of Portugal. We were amazed by how easy it was traveling together.

We arrived in the Singapore airport; it was Negin's first time in Southeast Asia. We were both so excited to be embarking on this first together.

It was the first time for both of us in Bali. The lush green of the rice fields was so vivid, we couldn't believe it.

To Negin's chagrin, we rode across Bali on a motorcycle. After a bit of time, Negin learned to relax and enjoy the ride. Kerem was thrilled to be on a bike again after some time.

This was our first ride on a Shinkansen in Japan together. Kerem will never tire of the engineering feat that is Japan's high speed rails. Negin thought it was a bit too fast.

We loved exploring Japan in the fall. The red and orange of the famous Japanese maple trees was gorgeous and made the Japanese gardens that much more exciting to explore.

We rode a motorcycle in the Northern mountains of Vietnam, close to China. Kerem reveled in the idyllic winding roads. Negin was especially in love with her Pikachu helmet.

Negin convinced Kerem to join her on a food tour in Vietnam. It started in a bazaar to buy their groceries, where they wore these awesome hats. Kerem was less excited for the hat.

Hoi An in Vietnam is famous for its expert seamstresses. This is Kerem in his brand new, custom-made suit next to his skilled tailor.

We've seen some of the most beautiful beaches together.

Our favorite New Years celebration was at a magical lantern festival in Thailand, where we sent off our own wishes alight into the open sky.

We fell absolutely in love with this Thai island (Koh Tao) and kept extending our stay, unwilling to leave just yet.
