Travel

Despite the name, the wedding venue is not an actual hotel. If you're coming from out of town or simply plan to enjoy the delicious beer, wine, and bubbles flowing at the wedding we recommend staying overnight. Initial research has shown that because of the season many hotels require a 2-night minimum. Consider making it a weekend trip. When we fell in love with the Depot we didn't realize that Sonoma has a very limited hotel supply and that many of the hotels below would quickly sell out. Regardless, it's worth checking out since you never know who cancelled. You may also want to consider an AirBnB. Petaluma may be more economical but involves a 20-25 minute drive over two lane and somewhat windy back-roads. We've had friends book in Rohnert Park (35 minutes) and also consider Napa (25 minutes) and Novato (30 minutes)

It's a bit further from Sonoma than the rest of the hotels (about 15 more minutes) but it's definitely an option especially if you plan on winning and showering us with money at the reception.
