Flight
This is the closest airport to Manhattan. If you are really, really lucky, they'll fly you over the island so you can ooooo and aaaaaa. Getting from this lovely airport to all of New York City through public transportation (bus), a taxi, or any rideshare app (the most popular in NYC are Via, Lyft, and Uber).
Flight
The personal favorite of the bride. If you're coming from California, a lot of the flights to JFK are nonstop and very reasonably priced. If you are anywhere near Long Beach, CA, JetBlue has a nonstop from LGB to JFK that's as easy as it gets. Getting to NYC from JFK: public transportation (AirTrain to MTA), taxi (capped at $50 to Manhattan), or any rideshare app.
Flight
Located in Newark, NJ, this airport is the farthest one from our wedding venue. However, flights to and from EWR are often the least expensive. Using NJ Transit, it's an easy hop, skip, and a jump to Penn Station - just 24 minutes away on the A or C train!
Train
If going by air just isn't your style, then consider the ole railroad. Not to brag or anything, but we have A LOT of Amtrak trains that roll through Penn Station. If you're on the Eastern Seaboard, consider taking the scenic route and going by rails. PLUS this gives you something to talk about with Scott. Score.

Know the best place to find an Airbnb? New York City. Because there are TONS of them. Private rooms, private apartments, entire townhouses - you can find exactly what you need. Check out listings in Downtown Brooklyn or Boerum Hill.
Travel Note
To thrive in New York City, you're going to need an MTA card. If you already have one - great! Look at you already so ahead of the game. If you don't have one - don't worry. You can buy one at a vending machine at any subway station. Single fare is $2.75 OR a 7-Day Unlimited Ride card is $33. If you're thinking you'll be riding the subway or bus MORE than 12 times, go with the latter. Anything else, the former option is the one for you! The building where we're hosting both the venue and ceremony are close to the A, C, G, F, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains.
