Airport

Palakkad is a small town. The closest airport is Coimbatore International Airport which is 1hr away. You can rent a pre-paid taxi from the airport or get an Outstation Ola/Uber to come down to Palakkad. This generally costs between 1000rs -1500rs. Please let us know if you need more details on this. Port Blair has its own airport - Veer Savarkar International Airport. We will try to pick some of you up. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport and you can take an autorickshaw to get to your hotel and around town as well. There are no Ola/Uber/Lyft services here.

Getting around town

For both Palakkad and Port Blair -> there are no Uber/Lyft services in this town, you will have to use autorickshaws or rent a car to get around. Please let Naveen/Rashmi know if you will need a rental car for either of these locations as soon as possible (latest before Dec 15, 2024) Pro tip: Best to rent a scooty to get around the islands :))
