Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel? Where will the pickup and drop off locations be?

Answer

Yes. The pickup and drop off location will be in front of the hotel or Rashmi's house or the venue. The route will be like this: 1) Temple wedding (at 9 AM) - Rashmi's home -> Hotel -> Temple 2) Mandapam and Sadhya ( at 11 AM) - Rashmi's home -> Hotel -> Temple

I have reached to Palakkad or Port Blair early. What can I do here?

Answer

We will try to catch up with you depending on how busy we might be with all the wedding rituals and ceremonies. Please ping us! If we are not able to meet you, please refer to the "Local Fun Spots" section of this website for fun things to do and eat around town.

What does south indian attire mean?

Answer

Generally, for Malayali weddings, men wear a dhoti (called mundu) with some shirt or kurta and women wear a saree. Please note dress code is optional and you can wear any Indian outfit you have (no black please, aunties will give you judgey eyes lmao).

Any After party post Dec 22 wedding?

Answer

We want to do a lowkey party at someone's hotel room but this is up in the air at the moment. We do plan to create a Whatsapp group of people attending the wedding so we can coordinate any such parties! Reach out to Rashmi's bestie Chinmay, he is the VP of after party fun!
