Things To Do

Our wedding is in between two of our favorite cities where we lived, Baltimore and Washington D.C. Baltimore charmed us with its down-to-earth and friendly attitude. We lived in Mount Vernon and highly recommend a neighborhood walk around the Washington Monument. Drop by Baby's on Fire for a cup of coffee, then Walters Art Museum (free entrance), then the Helmand (Afghani restaurant) for food. Other attractions we love in Baltimore are the American Visionary Art Museum, the Cylburn Arboretum, and Fort McHenry National Monument. For D.C., where can we even start? All the Smithsonian museums, galleries, and zoo are free! Take a hike in Rock Creek Park! Visit the National Mall, the cherry blossoms might still be in bloom, and they are truly magical. Check out events at all the embassies (the Vietnam's embassy was basically Nhi's childhood home)! There is something for everyone to enjoy! Below is a list of our favorite places to eat and drink in Baltimore and D.C.
