Question
Oops, I forgot, where is the wedding again? Will there be parking?
Answer
We are so excited to have our wedding at Prairie Street Brewhouse (200 Prairie Street, Rockford IL 61107). We will have reserved parking in the back parking lot of the building, as well as across the street in the public parking pavilion.
Question
What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail attire! We want everyone to enjoy themselves and feel like their best self. If you're feeling fancy and want to #TreatYoself to a new outfit, this is your chance! If you’re looking for color inspiration, the wedding will have lots of autumnal jewel tones. Feel free to match the scheme, or come in any color under the sun! You look great no matter what.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
A little bit of both! Weather permitting, we will have the ceremony outside on the dock, and the lower level bar will allow for outdoor access to the dock throughout the night. Otherwise, the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. If weather does not cooperate, we will also have the ceremony indoors.

Is there a block for the hotel and is there a shuttle?
Answer
Yes and yes! We will have a block at Embassy Suites Hotel in Rockford. It is first come, first serve so book as early as possible. We will have a shuttle taking guests to and from the venue through the evening. Please see the “Travel” section for the shuttle schedule.
Question
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one? What about children?
Answer
In the spirit of keeping our wedding as intimate as possible, we have chosen to invite immediate family, close friends, and their partners. Plus-one guests and invited children will be notated on your RSVP. We do ask that children of only immediate family attend the wedding. If you have questions about bringing a plus-one not included on your invitation, please reach out to Kate.

What food will be served? Is there an open bar?
Answer
We will be serving appetizers during cocktail hour and we will be having a pasta buffet for dinner! We have many vegan/gluten free friends, for which there will be alternative meal provisions. And would it be a wedding at a brewery without an open bar?? C'mon now.
