The Ambroses

Our love story is a bit cliche. "You find the right one when you aren't looking." Nate and Kate actually met in 2016, when Kate was a freshman at Augustana College and Nathan was a sophomore. We worked together in the mailroom, and from then on Nathan was Kate's secret campus crush. His charisma, kindness, and those dimples won her over right quick. Fast forward to Nathan's senior year and Kate's junior year. There were ten weeks left of his final semester of college and, naturally, that's when the best of love stories begin. We were at a hangout at a mutual friend's house, and we spent the evening talking the night away. It was game over after that. Kate figured Nate would disappear after those ten weeks - it's out of the small pond at Augie and onto bigger things in the wide world! But Nate surprised her and asked, "How do you feel about long distance?" The rest is history. After three years of distance, we bought our first beautiful home in 2023, got engaged in 2024, and in 2025 we are so excited to be getting married! This summer we celebrate six years together. It has been blessing after blessing, and joy after joy. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this love story. We wouldn't be the couple that we are without you! Our contentment and celebration is a reflection of the incredible community we have surrounding us. Thank you for being a part of our day in every big and small way. We love you!
