What are the current COVID-19 guidelines for your wedding?
Answer
If you are over the age of 12 please be fully vaccinated if you plan on attending. For children under 12, a negative rapid covid test is required before attending. Masks - Please bring them! We are keeping our eyes on all important websites and there may be a mask mandate in NC by the time the big day rolls around.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and guys should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Don't forget a mask!

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Average high/low temperature for Asheville in September is 78° / 58°. Rain, of course, is a possibility.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Highland Brewing in Asheville.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Invited kids in our families are definitely welcome! If you would like to hire childcare at any point during the weekend, please reach out to us directly and we will help find someone!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony (weather permitting) will be outside on the rooftop space at Highland. The reception will be downstairs inside.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
It is recommended that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
Free parking is available at Highlands.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The venue, luckily, is not hard to find and located just a few minutes from downtown Asheville. Plugging in the address (12 Old Charlotte Hwy Suite 200, Asheville, NC 28803) will get you right there.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
Hotel blocks will be available for guests (please see the 'where to sleep' section of this site for details). Some guests will be looking at airbnb and vrbo properties as well.

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
It is preferred that you RSVP right here on the website.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food? Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Answer
Yes of course! A variety of great craft beers from Highland will be available on draft as well as red and white wine options. Food will be BBQ provided by Luella's. There will be options available that are vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten free. Feel free to reach out if you have need any further info per special diet needs.
