Our story is slightly different depending on which one of us tells it and we are both too stubborn to agree... so, we will stick to the indisputable facts here.... Sami and Nate met in Asheville, NC working together at a little BBQ shack called Luella's. She truly welcomed him to his new home in the mountains, hiring him at the restaurant at the insistence of a mutual friend. Early on, Sami struggled to balance her responsibilities as a restaurant manager with her undeniable infatuation with her newest employee. More and more frequently she found her focus *BAM* shattered by her limerence for the young garcon. Nate's performance was similarly encumbered as he was far more concerned with the wooing of his new manager than the job at hand (this is probably why people don't remember him being a very good waiter which is of course not true). At times one might even wonder whether or not the lunch or dinner rushes would ever be overcome: irate customers storming out the front door as Sami and Nate gazed at each other from across the dining room completely disregarding their surroundings (and lets be honest, Kevin wasn't helping much from the kitchen). While they may not have been destined for long careers in food service, they soon discovered that they had a deep connection and a real partnership was blossoming. And then - 4 moves, 3 towns, 5 jobs, countless unforgettable meals, hikes, trips, craft beverages and 2 dogs who incredibly have yet to do one single wrong thing their entire lives. It was clear Sami and Nate had found their best friend in each other and would be partners for life - and they can't wait to celebrate that with you! Now, in Denver, they are enjoying life in the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by old friends and new friends and have never felt more full. We can't wait for us all to come together and celebrate!
