Question

Is it going to rain?

Answer

Yup.

Question

How should I pack for the weather?

Answer

Juneau, Alaska is located within the Tongass National Forest, the world's largest temperate rainforest! It is very likely it will rain during your stay so make sure you pack rain gear. The average high temperature on our wedding day is 57 F, and a low of 45 F. Therefore, it's also a good idea to pack warm. But make sure you also pack a few sunny day outfits :) Check the weather before you leave: https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=58.3010372&lon=-134.4246377

Question

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail (Alaskan edition). Feel free to dress up but keep it practical, sturdy shoes for grass, and layers for changing weather, and raincoats are absolutely welcome (and might be necessary). Think suits, dress pants with jackets, midi- or knee-length dresses, or dressy separates. Feel free to express your style within this vibe! Question

Why Juneau?

Answer

Juneau is a special place. It's mountains, orcas, rain, great beer, good people, and breathtaking beauty. But most of all, it's because Natalie wanted to get married there.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As of now, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be under a heated tent outdoors on a grass lawn.
