We met the old-fashioned way—on Tinder! Chris suggested we grab coffee, Natalie suggested getting a beer, and Chris followed up by asking if we wanted to go on a hike. So, we climbed into the trusty 2016 Chevy Cruze and headed to Curt Gowdy State Park to find the hidden falls. Now, as many of you know, Chris is a meteorologist—and confidently assured Natalie there was no chance of rain. Naturally, we ended up hiking back through a full-on downpour, completely soaked by the time we reached the car. Cold and hungry, we made our way to Alibi for pizza and continued our first date over beers. At the end of the meal, Chris mentioned he was going on a backpacking trip in the Wind River Range over Labor Day weekend—and invited Natalie to join. Because Natalie was eager to see more of Wyoming (and Chris) she said yes. And the rest is history.
