Will there be a room block?

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We ask that all guests follow the most updated CDC guidelines. Our wedding is outdoors, and many of the venues we chose for other events are also outdoors. We can also confirm that the bride, groom, and many of the wedding guests have been vaccinated.

What is the closest major airport?

Answer

Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RNO). You may also choose to fly into Sac, SFO, or SJC, and it is a manageable drive from those locations.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we want you to have the night off. Let's leave the kiddos at home and let loose.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will have a buffet style meal with plenty of options for everyone. Especially you red meat and carb lovers. Sorry, no vegan options at this party- except for the drinks!

Transportation to the venue?

Answer

We have booked shuttles to pick up our guests from the hotel in Reno and take them to/from the Venue. Our Venue is 30 minutes outside of Reno, so we suggest hitchin a ride on the shuttle! We do not recommend Uber/Lyfting to the Venue, as it is in the mountains and difficult to get a ride back home. The rest of Reno is Uber/Lyft friendly.

Is there parking onsite?

There is plenty of parking onsite at the venue. We will provide shuttles if you choose not to drive yourself.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Reno summers are dry and HOT! Day time temps range from 80's - 90's, with night temps cooling down to the 60's. Our venue will be at a higher elevation, with cooler temperatures ranging from 70's during the day, and 50's at night. Reno is also very dry- we recommend bringing chapstick, lotion, and staying hydrated!

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire.

What should I do in Reno/Tahoe?

Answer

We love this area! In addition to our "Things to Do Page," here are some recommendations to check out: Art Town, Truckee River, Midtown Reno, Riverwalk District, Reno Aces Game (our local minor league team!), Spa Atlantis, Spa Toscana, Karaoke at West 2nd Street, golfing at Redhawk, all you can eat Sushi... so many things!
