Rosie
Maid of Honor
Rosie is Amanda's little sister and built in best-friend. Rosie is famous for her quick wit and sarcastic remarks towards Amanda when she is being ridiculous, but they always warrant a laugh. Even though Amanda and Rosie are always at different stages of life due to the 6-year age gap, their support and love for one another never goes away. Rosie teaches Amanda that she is never too old to play video games or watch Disney movies with her little sister.
Sean
Co-Best Man
Sean is James’ oldest brother and one of the first people James showed Amanda’s engagement ring to. Sean and James are basically bonded by nostalgia and can talk for hours about their favorite toys, TV shows and video games they grew up enjoying together. Sean has been a support system for James since birth making him an obvious choice to be a Co-Bestman.
Nicole
Bridesmaid
Nicole is Amanda's older cousin by 9 months so they were very close growing up. So close that their parents would dress them in the same outfits constantly and it seemed to stick even in adulthood when they coincidently match on occasion. Nicole is someone that Amanda can talk to about literally anything. Their venting sessions usually take place over Snapchat video or voice messages back and forth for hours.
Daniel
Co-Best Man
Daniel is also James’ older brother and also very deserving of the Co-Bestman spot. DanNY (we only call him this when he is in New York) is someone that James can always confide in and rely on to make situations better through humor. Even though they’re constantly roasting each other, the brotherly love and respect is always there - hidden under layers of sarcasm, of course.
Courtney
Bridesmaid
Courtney is Amanda's longtime best friend. Courtney and Amanda have shared similar interests and hobbies during their early years that have stuck into their adult years. Instead of going to WICCA dance practices together, they now do spin classes at SpinCity with each other. Instead of watching Degrassi reruns every week, they now watch new episodes of Tell Me Lies together. Even though the content of their interests have changed over the years, they still stick to their roots and cherish every memory they have with each other.
Dan
Groomsman
Dan and James grew up just minutes from each other, so it was a shock that they did not meet until their first semester at Hofstra University. They became friends instantly after meeting through mutual friends and through Dan playing hockey with James’ brother. Dan and James have spent a lot of time through the years both playing in Club Roller Hockey and playing video games. The two will always be cracking jokes together - usually with each other as the only audience.
Meaghan
Bridesmaid
Meaghan is Amanda's longtime best friend, West Islip neighbor, high school bus buddy, and ex-Old Navy Coworker. Clearly, Amanda and Meaghan spent a lot of time in their teen years together and they continue to make time to spend time with eachother around hectic work schedules. Meaghan is someone that Amanda can always confide in and seek medical advice from when there is actually nothing wrong.
Danny
Groomsman
Danny and James’ friendship started on a random day during their first semester at Hofstra University in the Freshman dorms. Little did they know that their friendship would last over 10 years. James can always count on Danny to bring the vibes and strong drinks to any party. They like to spend time together hitting golfballs at Eisenhower and smoking cigars.
Erica
Bridesmaid
Erica is Amanda's longtime best friend. The two would spend almost every weekend in middle school and high school having sleepovers. The sleepovers would typically consist of Fiber One Brownies, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and watching Robot Chicken at midnight. This is probably a very strange combination for teenage girl sleepovers, but Amanda and Erica wouldn't have it any differently.
Ryan
Groomsman
Ryan and James have been friends since they both joined Club Roller Hockey in their Sophomore year of college. Their love for playing hockey in college has now morphed into playing hockey through video games - which at this point has probably surpassed the number of hours they’ve played hockey in real life.
Alexa
Junior Bridesmaid
Lexi is Amanda's little cousin. Amanda loved Lexi the first moment she held her as a newborn. Amanda cherishes anytime they spend together with their families whether it's watching movies in the backyard, going camping, or eating ice cream on any random night. Lexi and Amanda were known for taking Snapchat selfies with fun filters at any family gathering. Even though Lexi is taller than Amanda, she will always be Amanda's beautiful little cousin.
