The Bride’s Best Man
I met 23 year old Nancy at a housewarming party on the West Side. A chilly fall night in NYC. She stood out with her beautiful, red curls, dancing unpretentiously and giggling away. I knew then and there. There are no words to express my love and appreciation for her. She has been more than a friend over the years that we have spent growing and learning how to live life together. She has become more than family and I will forever be grateful for the person that has impacted my life in so many beautiful ways. Nancy, I love you more than I knew I could. I've been so critical of anyone coming into her life over the years. But then there was Paul. I vividly remember the call we had after their first date. Something felt different. After a rough stretch of Covid quarantines and a few moves around the world for her, Nancy sounded excited again. Over the next few weeks I would catch glimpses of her smiles while flirting with the man about to become her husband. Now, almost two years later I sit here holding their first born, little flawless Sienna, and am preparing to celebrate their love. Paul, you are a great man with beautiful qualities and I know you will be a great husband and an amazing father. I couldn’t be happier that you two found each other and that the Nancy now has someone like you next to her. What an honor it is to be by your side along this beautiful journey. I love you both and cannot wait to stand next to you at the altar this summer!
Best Man
Paul and I were born in Korea in the mid 1970s. Since we were born 11 months apart we shared many of the same interests. Early on it was toys and video games, followed by school sports, and most recently golf. For years Paul was known as the best golfer in the family but these days he's worried big brother has overtaken him. I'm pretty sure his move to Charlotte is at least in part to improve his golf game. Our parents worked hard to make sure we had the best opportunities in life. As rambunctious young boys we played hard, fought harder and generally managed to drive our parents crazy. Through it all we managed to enjoy a great friendship and sibling rivalry that has spanned 47 years. My parents and I are thrilled life has led him to Nancy and baby Sienna. We have had the best time getting to know the fun and well rounded bride-to-be and could not be happier that she is going to be part of our family. We are thrilled Sienna will have such wonderful parents. Looking forward to spending this wedding week with Paul and Nancy and getting to meet you all.
Maid of Honor
Nancy and I met at Ethos restaurant in NYC about 12 years ago. She was gorgeous and cool and I was an 18year old who was only focused on ballet. She brought light into my life. We drank a lot of wine, we laughed endlessly, we took NY by storm and we shared everything. We've been inseparable ever since. Nothing changed in the years after even though we lived far apart. We were there for each other always. We traveled the world together, we laughed and cried, we became better people, we grew up. I always say that Nancy raised me in a way. It’s hard to describe how I feel about her.. Throughout the years we've dreamed together, we've shared our art, we've lost someone and grieved together, she wrote a poem about me, I cried the greatest tears of joy when seeing my goddaughter Sienna for the first time. These are only a few moments that come to mind when I think about her and our connection. There are many types of friends and then there are friends that you would go to the end of the world for. That’s what Nancy is to me. Paul came into her life at the perfect moment and I couldn’t be happier for them and the family that they’ve created. In each other they found exactly what was missing from their lives. I love them so much and hope they will always be as happy as they are right now. Nancy and Paul I can’t wait to celebrate your love this summer.

Officiant & Bridesmaid
Nancy and Jannine met in August of 2015. The start of their never-ending love story. Their first “date” was orchestrated as an introduction and business meeting of sorts, but quickly turned into sharing stories of their lives. Jannine was enamored with Nancy’s drive and courage to say, do, and go where she wanted. Nancy admired Jannine’s strong boss lady aura. They went from co-workers, to friends, to now being forever connected as soul sisters. They’ve travelled great lengths to see each other –from LA to Sydney, from San Francisco to New York. They’ve celebrated birthdays & holidays, they’ve shared heartaches and successes. Now, their next greatest adventure together, they both get to stand at the altar with Paul. There are few people in this world that can walk into a room and both light up and command the space all at once. Nancy is one of them. She is as strong as she is gentle and her loyalty to her loved ones is unbreakable. Nancy has been my better half through so many phases and seasons of life. She has never backed away from being a strong, caring and beautiful expression of the divine feminine in my life. Now she gets to radiate that love as a mother and wife. In Paul, she’s found a partner so deserving of her love. Being part of this wedding and getting to witness the start of this new chapter in their lives will be one of my favorite memories we’ll ever have together.

I have had the good fortune of knowing Paul for almost 30 years since our time in college. We have been roommates multiple times, traveled together and even worked at the same company for several years. I have always considered him one of my best friends in life because he is genuine, trustworthy, sincere and just a great person. He’s the type of friend I know I can count on, and even if we go a couple months without seeing each other we pick up right where we left off. He is absolutely part of my family and my wife and kids see it the same way. He has always been Uncle Paul to my kids, even though he gets beat in ping pong and basketball every time he comes to the house. What I love seeing most in Nancy and Paul’s relationship is that they truly enjoy being together, respect and love each other. Paul is very lucky to have found Nancy and we wish them a lifetime of happiness in the future with their beautiful baby Sienna.

It was a fairly cold evening in Chelsea NY when I entered a sports bar to meet some friends for a drink and there she was! Julia Roberts was hanging out in the back with her friends! I was overwhelmed and I immediately walked towards her to ask for a picture and to my huge disappointment I realized that it wasn't her but it was Nancy. LOL She was beautiful, intelligent and confident so we had to be friends! We soon came to realize that we have many mutual friends and we were already connected more than we thought and the rest is history!! Nancy has a magnetic personality, she is loving and caring and she shares Sonny with me which is a dream. You know how they say that some people come into our lives for a reason? Well, some other people stay in our lives for a reason and Nancy is here to stay! I am glad to be part of this new story in Nancy's book of life and I'm sure there is so much more to come. Nancy and Paul, I just wanna say that in this 1 endless universe, 8 known planets and 8 billion people I am happy that I had the privilege to meet you and call you my friends. With love ❤️

I first met Paul in 1998 when we were both traveling in Europe after college on Mikes Bike Tours in Munich. He had gone to my university for 1 year before transferring and knew a friend of mine in my group. My group of friends bumped into his group in several other cities in Europe and I later learned he lived in NYC. I was shortly thereafter moving to NYC from a small town but didn’t have any contacts in NYC. On my very first night in Manhattan, I checked my answering machine (yes, Im old) in my corporate housing apartment and Paul had left a vm inviting me out with some of his friends. That was just a really thoughtful thing to do and has been the basis for our relationship. We’ve been close friends for the last 25 years since. We’ve lived together, worked together, travelled together and been through a lot of ups and downs in life together. Some of my favorite things about Paul are his ability to be so positive and also to keep friendships that span across his lifetime. He’s a brother to me and I always want to try to be as good a friend to him as he has been to me. I’m excited for this new chapter with Nancy and Sienna and for what the future holds.

I met Nancy when we were working at Laurel Hardware restaurant in West Hollywood. Technically, Nancy was my boss — but she quickly became one of my closest friends. Whether we were cuddling with Sonny watching bad TV & eating Greek delicacies, escaping to the desert for a photo shoot, crying over heartbreak, or laughing hysterically at nothing at all… Nancy became my sister. My home away from home. I couldn’t be more happy for Paul & Nancy, and the beautiful family they’re building.

In 2001, at age 16, I met this beautiful girl at summer camp in Bonn, Germany. I still remember our first interaction and how easy and natural it felt being around her. Somehow I knew she was going to be someone special in my life. Being from different cities we decided to write letters to each other to keep in touch. We sent each other CD's, occasionally spoke on the phone and always made sure to see each other as often as possible. Now, twenty two years later and having lived through so much together I have so much love and admiration for my friend who has become an extraordinary woman and mother. Nancy, you made me really happy when you asked me to be by your side on your special day and it's a great honor! Your bridesman and forever friend Dimitris. And as always.. the best is yet to come!

Nancv and I met ages ago as teenage track & field athletes in the same club. We used to spend our summers together in Chalkidiki. We went to University in the same city and she practically lived in my apartment which was across the street from hers because she said it had good "juju". We went to every single party and it was at my nameday get-together in 2005 when she got drunk for the very first time. She tried to teach me how to dance (unsuccessfully). We traveled through Europe together on trains and stayed in the cheapest hostels we could find to prove a point. Point was not proven since we called our dads for reinforcements $ when we had enough and needed an upgrade to hotels and planes. She lights up my life and has always been the shiniest person in the room; the coolest god mother my son Jason could ask for. She is my childhood friend and my very best friend!
Bridesmaid
7th grade. I was a shy little girl. We got to meet our classmates for the first time. Nancy with her beautiful, long curls. A little American with a perfect American accent. I gravitated towards her from the very beginning. About a month after we met I had a serious accident and Nancy would visit me and find the best ways to entertain me. I knew then and there that she was rare. Years went by and we ended up studying in different cities, but no matter the distance or time passed Nancy has always been one of the friends that when we reunite feels like we just saw each other the previous day. One of her qualities that I respect the most is her candor. She isn’t afraid of being straight forward, especially with the people she loves the most. She is my greatest confidant. Whenever she visits Greece we pick up right where we left off, joking around just like when we were little girls. Nancy has a crazy that I love. She brings out my fun side and even when we’re not doing much we have the Best time. Thank you for choosing me to stand next to you on this special day. I will always be here for you regardless of the physical distance between us. I love you and the beautiful family you have created. Two legged and four legged.
