Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nancy Maguire and Paul Choi
Visit as many islands as you can before or after our wedding. Reach out to me for recommendations. Chalkidiki is stunning and we will be doing a few things together, however since you're here... you should probably enjoy the Ionian or Aegean Seas..
Molos

Very nice seaside cocktail bar for great drinks and dancing later in the evening.

Αρσανάς Restaurant

Αρσανάς Restaurant

Nikiti, 630 88, Greece

We highly recommend Arsanas Restaurant which is right on the water in the town of Nikiti and has excellent food.

Aristos Fish Restaurant

Aristos Fish Restaurant

Ormos Panagias, 630 78, Greece

Aristos is a great seafood restaurant right on the water that we recently visited. Simple, fresh and authentic Greek.

Mount Athos

Mount Athos

Greece

Mount Athos, aka Agion Oros (Holy Mountain) is a unique male monastic society that people from all over the world come to visit. It is located on the 3rd leg/peninsula of Chalkidiki. Agion Oros has been a secluded place, accessed from the sea and allowed to MEN ONLY, for more than 1000 years. You can opt to enjoy a cruise that will take you around the monastery so women can enjoy the view as well. Agion Oros remains the only place where the visitor can experience life as it was during the times of the Byzantine Empire. It was founded in 963AD. Ever since, it has been greatly supported by the Byzantine Emperors and stood strong to all invasions and dangers during the centuries. Today visitors can live in the ways of the Byzantine era for a few days, can discover the mysticism of the orthodox religion and way of life, can admire the wonderful works of hagiography and enjoy the unspoiled nature.

Kavourotripes Beach

Kavourotripes Beach

630 72, Greece

Kavourotripes beach is a hidden paradise in Chalkidiki and I recommend you explore it. It's not necessarily an organized beach even though there is a small canteen so be ready for a short walk to get down to the water and maybe bring some snacks and WATER with you.

Manassu Beach Bar and Restaurant

Manassu Beach Bar and Restaurant

Sarti, 630 78, Greece

Manassu is an elevated beach bar with great style and ambiance. It's spacious with a private parking area and a golden beach with very comfortable sunbeds (most likely you'll have to pay a tad more for them since they're the comfy ones).

Platanitsi Beach

Platanitsi Beach

Greece

I grew up camping on Platanitsi Beach with my family. It has been described as one of the most popular and beautiful beaches around Sarti. Considered a ‘Blue Flag’ beach, Platanitsi’s sand is ‘to die for’ and is a great swimmers beach. The beach is controlled by the campsite that requires an entrance fee in the high season. Platanitsi is an organized beach with a popular beach bar that has set up sun-beds and umbrellas that are included when you order a drink. This is a party beach that attracts a young crowd, so the music is loud and not to everybody’s liking. The beach is large so you can also set up your towel and umbrella if you want to keep out of the organized part. This is also a popular diving beach since there are tall rocks on the ends of the strand. The soft sand is amazing and the water is very clear. The depth is not shallow or deep, but more average and there can be waves to play in. On the ends of the beach you can find some quieter nooks to hide from the crowds.
