Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm on the second floor. Doors will open at 4:45 pm.

Question

Will you be changing your names?

Answer

Kelson and I have decided to keep both of our respective last names. Sadly, the Woghes (Wong+Hughes combination) was not available.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have worked really hard to create an intimate celebration that includes all of our closest family and friends. We will specify the name of all guests on your invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any additional individuals not indicated on the invitation.

Question

Can I smoke on the rooftop?

Answer

No, we ask that you refrain from smoking on the rooftop. We will be fined $500 for smoking. Please head downstairs and outside of the building if you need to smoke.

Question

Is your ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, our photographer has requested an unplugged ceremony in order to ensure that the photography team captures the best shots! We would ask that you put away your cellphones and tablets during the wedding ceremony. We will share photos with all of our loved ones after the wedding via Google Drive.

Question

When are photos happening?

Answer

We will be taking family and group photos before the wedding. For extended family photos, we will be taking photos during cocktail hour. Our photographer will be helping to chorale everyone together! During dinner, we will be stopping by each table to say hello!

Question

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

We will be requiring that all guests and vendors to be vaccinated prior to the wedding. If booster shots are offered in the fall, we will ask guests to please receive their booster shot prior to the wedding. In addition, we will still be providing hand sanitizers and other supplies. Closer to the wedding, we will provide more information about the precautions our vendors and venue will be taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are hosting a post-wedding brunch on Sunday, January 16th. Please let us know if you're able to attend when you RSVP for the wedding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, but there is a parking garage near our venue. Directions and information for the parking garage is listed under Travel and Lodging. The venue is within walking distance of the metro.
