Kasey and Sasha's deep friendship began as roommates their freshmen year at the University of Utah. They quickly learned how much they had in common, including a love for travel, music and having birthdays just four days apart! Over the next 17 years, they traveled the world together, including New Orleans, Italy, Germany, Puerto Rico and a grand tour of Colorado. They supported each other through huge life changes, and Sasha stood by Kasey's side as her Maid of Honor. Kasey is honored and excited to do the same for her on this momentous day!
Lliam Taylor
Best Man
Lliam is a successful music producer, ghostwriter and artist. He and Christopher first met during their sophomore year at Inspire School of Arts & Sciences, where they bonded over their shared passion for music production. They spent countless hours helping each other in the school’s studio, laying the foundation for a creative partnership and friendship that would only grow stronger with time. A decade later, life brought them to a secluded property in the woods, where they turned an old barn into a recording studio - writing songs, producing music and hosting fellow artists. After 16 years of friendship and a soundtrack full of shared memories, Christopher is deeply honored to have Lliam standing by his side as his best man.

Lauren and Sasha met in 7th grade, bonding over “musical bobby pins” in Music Appreciation class. That spark of laughter grew into a lifelong friendship, enduring even when they briefly attended different high schools, only to graduate together in the end. In their early twenties, they made plenty of unforgettable memories before Sasha moved abroad to live in Italy. Distance never dimmed their connection; even after Sasha relocated to Colorado, Lauren followed not long after and the two reunited to live in the same state once again (even working together) along with their friend, Aiste. Now back in Utah, Lauren remains a cherished presence in Sasha’s life, and Sasha is deeply honored to be the godmother of Lauren’s son, Voden. Lifelong laughter, loyalty and love have defined their friendship, and Sasha is thrilled to have Lauren by her side.
Jay Malcuit

Christopher and Jay first met in high school, where Jay was one of the first people to welcome Christopher as a new student. They quickly became friends, often spending their lunch breaks walking downtown and bonding over music - especially their shared love of singing. When Christopher was in a life-changing accident, Jay didn’t hesitate: he picked up Lliam and drove all the way from Sacramento to Big Sur to be by his side. Through many seasons of change and personal hardships, they’ve supported one another without question. Christopher is beyond honored to have Jay standing with him on this special day.
Aiste Riggins

Sasha met Aiste in 7th grade math class, quickly bonding over their shared Eastern European roots with Aiste from Lithuania and Sasha from Russia. Aiste was always the math whiz, while Sasha became her unofficial chauffeur in high school, even if their rides were often late and quite a bit adventurous! Their friendship followed to Denver, where Aiste moved with her husband to open a pizza shop. Aiste has always been a rock in Sasha’s life offering a place to stay, a job and physical/emotional support whenever it was needed. Sasha is beyond grateful to have one of her oldest and most generous friends standing by her side at the wedding.
Kieran Allen

Kieran is a devoted husband and proud father of two beautiful children. He and Christopher met at 18 through mutual friends in the local music scene and quickly bonded over their shared taste in artists and musical style. That connection led them to start a band together. After countless shows and creative collaborations, their friendship remains as strong as ever. Music brought them together, but it's their loyalty and shared experiences that have kept them close. Christopher had the honor of standing beside Kieran at his wedding, and now Kieran will proudly return the favor.
Johanna Jamison

Sasha and Johanna (and MOH Kasey!) met in the freshman dorms at the University of Utah, quickly trauma bonding over their other suitemate’s drama…and they’ve been friends ever since. What started with 80s dancing, toga parties and questionable Halloween costumes grew into walks, tea and supporting each other through life’s joys and traumas in both Utah and Colorado. Johanna couldn’t be happier to stand by Sasha’s side during this magical event, and ever after 💜🎉
Nathaniel Stewart

Nathaniel has been a close friend of Christopher’s for many years. They met in high school when Christopher was a sophomore and Nathaniel was a junior. Their shared passion for music, particularly recording arts and music equipment. This led to an instant connection. Before long, they formed a band called Valembrosa, playing numerous shows and even self-recording their album in the high school’s recording studio. Though the band eventually disbanded after graduation and as they moved into their college years, their friendship remained strong. Over the years, they’ve continued to support each other’s solo projects and artistic pursuits. Christopher is truly honored to have Nathaniel by his side as a groomsman.
Ciera Neverve

Ciera was Sasha’s first friend after moving to Denver, and their connection was instant. They met at work and quickly bonded over a shared love of travel, movies and fashion though Sasha happily admits that Ciera’s knowledge in the last two far surpasses her own! Thanks to Ciera, Sasha now has a deeper appreciation for the Oscars and actually pays attention to directors and actors. Sasha loves bonding over their various travels and learning little tidbits from Ciera. She has shown up for every celebration Sasha has hosted, and their friendship has only grown stronger. Sasha is so grateful for Ciera’s loyalty, warmth and brilliance, and especially thankful to have her by her side on this day.
Ian Coogan

Ian and Christopher first met while working at Cali Customs, a T-shirt printing shop in the Chico mall - where Ian was Christopher’s boss. They quickly trauma-bonded over the less-than-ideal working conditions, sparking a friendship that’s lasted over 13 years. Thankfully, they’ve both moved on to much better jobs. Ian is a talented musician, artist and creator - passions he and Christopher deeply share. Above all, Ian is a loving husband and devoted father who cares deeply for his family and friends. He’s always been a mentor and older-brother figure to Christopher, so it’s only fitting that he stands beside him on this momentous day.
Hannah Fridrich

From the moment Sasha met Christopher’s little sister, Hannah, it felt like kindred spirits from the start. They’ve shared many special memories, from swimming in the river with the family dog, Ellis, to exploring places like Santa Cruz and Monterey, while also playing tourists in the places they live. When Sasha visited Hannah in San Diego, they enjoyed Cabrillo National Monument and Balboa Park. In Denver, they explored favorites like Meow Wolf, Pikes Peak and Boulder. Shopping has been a fun part of many of their trips, and spending holidays together has helped deepen their bond. Sasha is truly excited to have Hannah as her sister-in-law and as part of the family, standing by her side on this special day.
Dan Macon

Dan is a passionate musician from Baltimore and truly the people’s bass player - lending his talents to countless bands and artists over the years. He and Christopher met while on tour. Though they weren’t in the same band, they ended up spending nearly every night before and after shows hanging out and connecting. After the tour, their friendship continued to grow, bonded by a shared love of building guitars and basses, talking gear, traveling and just navigating life. Christopher is proud and grateful to have Dan standing beside him on his big day.
Jesse Barlow

Jesse first met Sasha and Christopher as a couple at Sasha’s Roaring 20s-themed 30th birthday party. Not long after, the world shut down for COVID but the three stayed connected, thanks to a web of mutual friends and unexpected shared connections. Over the years, they’ve bonded over their love of music, movies and travel, often going to concerts and shows together. Jesse has always been open to sharing his home and generous with his culinary talents and presence at Sasha and Christopher’s many gatherings. Their shared memories and friendship made Jesse the perfect person to help them begin this next chapter together.
