Casual attire

To all invited guests, if you are around and available the night before the wedding, we would love to casually get together with you at the local bar in Big Sur. It’s an informal meet-up to come by, grab a drink or bite if you’d like and say hello! Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please note: having your own vehicle is recommended, as rideshare options are hard to come by in this remote area. Be on the lookout for wildlife crossing and be wary of potential fog. Most importantly, please don’t drink and drive — Highway 1 is a winding road with steep cliffs.

Wedding Ceremony

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The wedding is black-tie optional. This event will be at an outdoor ampitheater (covered bench seats). Comfortable shoes are recommended as walking down a state park trail will be required. There could be uneven ground, dirt trails and rocks, so maybe reconsider stilettos for this part of the day.

Please plan to arrive with plenty of time to spare before the start of the ceremony. Parking is available, but a short walk (up to a quarter of a mile) may be required. There is a trail leading to the venue (quarter-mile, or a 5-minute walk). Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are not reliably available in the area. While you may be able to get a ride to the venue, return rides can be difficult due to the remoteness of the area. We are arranging limited shuttle service to and from the venue, available on a first come, first served basis for the first 50 guests. If you’d like to reserve a spot, please let us know!

Brunch

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Casual attire

To spend a little more time with our out-of-town guests, we’re hosting a casual brunch on the beach the day after the wedding. Come by, relax and enjoy a few breakfast essentials such as croissants, muffins, fruit, coffee and more!
