We're getting married!

Christopher and Sasha met in Cancun, Mexico, on April 12, 2019, at a lively hostel called Nomads. Sasha had just returned from a short trip to Cuba, while Christopher was passing through on his way there. It was on the rooftop, surrounded by new friends, where their conversation sparked. Later that evening, Sasha organized a group outing to explore the nightlife, and Christopher eagerly joined in. By the end of the night, they exchanged Instagram handles, and after Christopher returned from Cuba, he slipped into Sasha's DMs. What started as a chat exchange soon blossomed into a romance with several trips shared between them that deepened their connection. On November 3, 2019, right here in Monterey County, they officially became a long-distance couple. For the next few years, they navigated the challenges of being a pandemic couple, staying connected despite the miles between them with more traveling and endless conversation. Then, Christopher made the leap to Denver, Colorado, on the eve of Thanksgiving in 2022, bringing them even closer together. In the winter of 2024, Christopher and Sasha traveled to Europe together on their first international trip since meeting in Mexico. Christopher proposed on the day after Thanksgiving in Germany, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story. And as they say, the rest is history…
