A traditional German pre-wedding celebration where guests break porcelain dishes for good luck. The couple then cleans up the shards together, symbolizing teamwork in their marriage. Those who can, please bring your own porcelain, we will have a few for the ones who cant bring it.
Holzsägen / Log-cutting German tradition

The couple saws a log together using a large two-handled saw. It symbolizes working together and overcoming challenges as a team.

Meeting Point Before the Ceremony

All guests are asked to arrive on time. All vehicles can be parked at the meeting point. Guests will be guided together as a group to the next location.
Castle tour before Ceremony

As a group, you will have a tour of the castle before the ceremony. Feel free to explore the rooms, take photos, or visit the restroom at your leisure. Guests are kindly asked to be in the castle’s courtyard (Innenhof) promptly at 12:00 PM, where someone will guide the group to the ceremony hall and your seats. The groom will meet you in the courtyard (Innenhof)
Ceremony

For the ceremony, we kindly request formal attire. We want our castle to be full of life, so bold and vibrant colors are warmly welcome!
During the ceremony, we kindly ask you to be discreet with phones. A professional photographer will capture the moments for you. We want you to fully experience this special time, not watch it through a screen. Join us in this beautiful moment with your attention and connection. Let’s honor the important moments together. Thank you! After the ceremony, there will be a small cocktail to enjoy and continue celebrating these lovely moments. We can’t wait to see you!
