In late 2018, Raheel took Naheed to Vitruvian Park’s winter-time Vitruvian Lights display for their first date. This is a perfect area for a nice stroll and people watching.
The Gaylord’s popular ICE display every winter is a fun indoor experience to see ice sculptures. See if they offer Groupon deals if you’re planning to go!

Listen up, folks. If you leave Dallas without trying Ricky’s Hot Chicken, you have missed out. We recommend the medium-spice, three-finger combo with their house sauce. It’s to-go only so you can either eat at the tables outside the Alamo Drafthouse next door, at a local park, or in your car. Try to eat it while it’s still warm - that’s when the spice hits best. They usually close between 2 and 4 pm so be sure to check their timings on Google Maps before you go.
