We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Our wedding will take place on October 18, 2026.
The wedding day will begin at Nader’s family home in Wady Chahrour, a charming town just twenty minutes from Beirut. Expect music, dancing, and one of Lebanon’s most beautiful traditions: the groom’s family convoy to the bride’s house. Nader's parents and his family will set off to pick up Perla and escort her to the church—and you will be part of this joyful celebration. Don’t worry about transportation; our chauffeurs will take care of everything. Next, you will arrive at the bride’s home in Dbayeh, a beautiful coastal town with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Get your cameras ready for beautiful portraits and unforgettable moments. The convoy will arrive accompanied by traditional dabke dancers, and you will be warmly welcomed by Perla’s family and friends. We can’t wait for you to experience these cherished traditions. From there, we will all proceed to St. Georges Orthodox Church in Bsalim, where Nader and his groomsmen will be waiting. The ceremony will be a sacred and moving service, and English booklets will be provided so that everyone can follow along. Finally, our chauffeurs will transport you to our reception venue, Nuit Blanche in Mar Roukoz, where cocktail hour and the celebration will unfold. We won’t spoil what’s in store—but we hope you’re ready to party.
The dress code is black tie. For men, this typically means a tuxedo (or a dark formal suit with a tie). For women, it means a formal evening gown. Lebanese weddings are known for their glamour and style, so we encourage you to have fun with your look—and feel free to look up Lebanese weddings online for a little inspiration! Also, please feel free to message either Perla or Nader with any question you may have.
Please RSVP by August 1, 2026 using the RSVP tab on this website. We appreciate your response as soon as possible.
Yes. Chauffeured transportation will be available throughout the wedding day to take our international guests between their hotel, the groom’s house, the bride’s house, the church, and the reception venue. You will not need to arrange your own transportation on the day of the wedding.
Yes, the reception will include an open bar, including Lebanese specialties like Arak.
We have intentionally not reserved hotel room blocks, as we know each guest may have a different vision for their stay in Lebanon. Some may prefer a relaxing resort on the beach, others may want to experience Beirut’s nightlife by staying in Mar Mikhael (often called Beirut’s Bourbon Street), and others may choose a historic hotel full of old-world charm. As long as you are staying in Beirut, you will be close to all wedding events, and our chauffeurs will provide transportation to and from the celebrations. We’ve included a few recommendations in the Travel tab, but we are keeping things open-ended so you can choose what suits you best.
Every lawyer's favorite answer: It Depends! Lebanese weddings are known for being long, joyful celebrations. The reception will continue late into the night—so come ready to dance and celebrate!
Expect an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, rich traditions, and incredible food. Lebanese weddings are energetic, festive, and deeply family-centered.
Of course! We warmly welcome guests to take photos and capture special moments during the ceremony. We simply ask that you do so respectfully and without disrupting the service, as our professional photographers and videographers will also be documenting the day beautifully.
October in Lebanon is typically warm, sunny, and beautiful. In Beirut, daytime temperatures are usually around 28–32°C (82–90°F), with evenings remaining pleasant and mild at 22–25°C (72–77°F).
Lebanon primarily uses the Lebanese Pound, but US dollars are widely accepted. Most places in Beirut operate comfortably with USD. You will be able to use your cards almost everywhere but we recommend that you bring cash (USD) with you. There is no need to convert your USD to Lebanese Pounds.
Lebanon operates on Eastern European Time (EET), which is typically 7 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time. Please keep this in mind when booking flights and planning your arrival.
All international flights arrive at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY), located about 15 minutes from the city center. There are currently no direct flights from the United States to Lebanon, so most itineraries include one connection. We strongly recommend making your final leg into Beirut on Middle East Airlines (MEA)—Lebanon’s national airline and an extremely reliable and safe way to arrive (they truly never cancel… look it up!). For guests flying from Atlanta, the easiest route is often the Turkish Airlines red-eye to Istanbul, followed by a short flight from Istanbul to Beirut, getting you there in around 12 hours. For guests departing from cities like Chicago, DC, NYC, Orlando, or Detroit, the most common option is to connect through Europe—typically via Frankfurt, London, or Paris—before continuing on to Beirut. We generally recommend avoiding itineraries that connect through the Gulf (such as Qatar Airways via Doha, Emirates through Dubai, or Saudi Airlines through Riyadh), as these routes often add an extra 8–10 hours to your travel day—unless, of course, you’d like to extend your layover to enjoy those cities (we completely understand… we’ve done that too!). Perla loves talking travel, has tried most airport connections herself, and is always happy to help you choose the best route. NB: At the time of writing this FAQ, Lebanon had only one airport. Now, Lebanon has two-- Please do not fly into KYE Airport as that's way too far away! BEY is still the best choice!
Yes—taxis and ride services are very common and easy to use in Beirut. Uber is widely available (but you can only pay in cash; your app will convert automatically when you land in BEY), and most locals and visitors rely on it for getting around the city. For traveling outside of Beirut to destinations like Byblos or Batroun, or for scheduled rides to and from the airport, we recommend Allo Taxi, a reliable local service: https://www.allotaxi.com/en.
