There are very limited dining options up the canyon. Solitude Resort has a few dining options that are open during the summer. Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant is a great option for breakfast/brunch. Food will be provided Friday and Saturday night, otherwise we highly recommend doing some grocery shopping before heading up the canyon if you are staying there for the weekend. Otherwise, there are plenty of dining options in the Salt Lake Valley.
If you are coming in from out of town, we highly recommend renting a car if it is an option for you. Otherwise, Uber does go up the canyon and there is a bus that runs regularly up and down the canyon. Please reach out to us if you have additional transportation questions or would like us to help in coordinating rides.
No. Please plan to stay up at Brighton, everything in the Brighton circle is walking distance to and from the venue. If you are not staying at Brighton, please plan on having a designated driver to get you home safely. We do not want anyone drinking and driving down the canyon.
Yes! Eddy Ray will be nearly 2 years old and would love to have friends to play with at the wedding. We will bring some toys but your littles are more than welcome to bring their favorite things to have during the ceremony/reception. We want all parents to enjoy themselves fully at the reception, so we highly encourage you to arrange childcare for later in the evening if possible (so you can party down with us).
