Brooke and Allison first locked eyes across a glowing bonfire one fateful evening 11 years ago, and have been together ever since. Although they have never lived in the same city, that has not deterred their unbreakable bond. Despite their differences and chaotic schedules, they are always there for eachother when needed, like a modern day S&B. Brooke has shared with Allison her love of plants, while Allison has shown Brooke that cats can be good pets too. The pair enjoy bartering at estate sales, eating copious amounts of cheese, getting dancy, and making everyone they come across take their photo. Even though Cody has come into Brooke's life we all know who her first real love was. Cody will just have to remember that when Allison is around, he will always be a lonely boy.
Austin Telles

Austin met Cody in August of 2013 at BGSU when Cody was rushing Alpha Tau Omega. Cody had always felt uncomfortable in social situations, while Austin seemed to fit perfectly into them. Cody chose Austin to be his Big Brother in Alpha Tau Omega and the two shared many memories during their shared time at BGSU. Austin showed Cody to be himself and helped Cody grow as a person, though that may have involved taking one too many Jäger Bombs on a few too many occasions. Cody was proud to stand by Austin's side when he married Anna. Austin and Cody have seen each other at each other's best and worst and their friendship has endured. Cody is excited that Austin and Anna will be adding Baby Telles to the world and cannot wait to be a bad influence on them.

Brooke and Abby met on Bid Day September 2013 when Abby joined their sorority Kappa Delta. They quickly became friends. Throughout their many years of friendship since, Brooke and Abby have always shared obsessive interests that others could not relate to. In the time that they have been friends they have shared a love for their sorority, passion for drag queens, a love for thrifting, matching tattoos, dedication to homecoming tailgates (this one actually includes Cody) and their love for each other. These two have been asked if they were sisters regularly by strangers (once, even twins). While looking only vaguely similar, it is their shared intense energy and kindred spirits that others recognize when they ask this. Brooke and Abby like to respond to this question with a," yes."

The first time that Nate met Cody, he was on the playground at Monroe Elementary. Nate, new to the school was walking around and saw a kid dressed in a Red Velvet Suit Jacket. Curious, Nate strolled over and asked this kid why he was wearing a suit jacket. The kid looked at Nate like he was an idiot and says, "I always wear a suit on the second Thursday of the month after the first snow" and walked off. Nate decided that they would be friends. That kid was Cody and they have been best friends since that second Thursday of November.

Message from Samantha - There's a joke in our family that I am an only child, which I act like I love. But the truth is, I would never actually want to be an only child let alone not be Brooke's sister. My sister has been the biggest role model in my life, in every single area of it. Of course she set the bar high with school, but the characteristic I value the most is her mental strength. Brooke overcomes every mental and physical battle in her life triumphantly and I wish I could be half as strong as my sister. She is such a bright light and has helped me more than she will ever know. I'm so excited for Brooke and Cody and this new season of life that they will be taking on together. I love you both!

JT met Cody during Cody’s freshman year when he arrived to BGSU, the best school ever, JT spent several weeks trying to woo Cody into joining ATO, listening to Cody’s “scrawww”s, and playing GTA 5 in Cody’s dorm room. One day Cody decided to be a hero by donating blood. Afterword, Cody wasn’t feeling the best and for some odd reason (maybe fate) the Red Cross decided to call JT to come save him. That moment likely sealed Cody’s decision to join ATO, and has led to a strong friendship. For the next three years Cody and JT paid for each others’ friendship, partaking in many weekends of drunken debauchery, and cheering on BG sports with many “scraww”s. Their friendship now has never been closer as they talk most nights on Xbox as they nerf scrubs to get glorious dubs.

A Message from Surina - Everyone else knew we were going to be best friends before even we did. It felt like everyone I spoke to upon joining a sorority under the guise of getting a $13 t-shirt and something to do for the weekend told me that if i just met Brooke, she’s for sure bound to be my person. It turns out they were all right. When we finally got to sit down over dinner that was what most immediately struck me & what has left me most in awe since- the ability to be so authentically herself- which made her one of the most empathetic and understanding people I knew. Since then she has continued to been my roommate, food crawl buddy, elevated surface dance partner, travel buddy & so much more. I can’t wait to watch her marry the love of her life. Here’s to all that’s to come!

Message from Dan - this world is filled with people that are afraid to speak their mind. I was one of those people before befriending Cody, shy and quiet. Cody on the other hand, is not shy and quiet, and it is honestly one of my favorite things about him. He's my best friend and someone I look up to and try to learn from. Cody, along with Nathan, taught me to be myself, unapologetically. This is the greatest thing the both of them have given me. Cody is one of the best people on this planet, and I'm so happy for him and honored to be a small part of his big day and his life. Congrats to the both of you, P.S. There's an open bar at this thing right?

I met Brooke when I was looking to join a sorority and Brooke was on Panhellenic Council. We were fast friends after a fun Dairy Queen Trip with Courtney Rice’s Panhellenic recruitment group. After I found out that Brooke and I were both in Kappa Delta I wanted her as my mentor and, friend. Brooke became my big soon after and the rest is history. I admire Brooke for her resilience, her passion and grace. Brooke is someone who anyone would be so lucky to have as part of their life and I’m so glad she’s part of mine. We went from texting about sorority sisterhoods to now messaging about jobs, advising our Kappa Delta, and renovating our houses. I am so grateful to watch this couple’s love blossom and ai cannot wait to be a part of their big day.

Message from Spencer - I met Cody in a weird circumstance. We were both seeing different girls (thankfully neither of us ended up with them) who happened to be roomates at an off campus apartment. The night that we met we were both at the complex and Cody offered to give me a ride back to my dorm. We talked a lot about his experience in college and how he loved being in his fraternity; Alpha Tau Omega. My entire next semester Cody took the time to introduce me to his friends and invited me to hangout at his house whenever I was bored. I would go on to join Alpha Tau Omega. Cody continued to mentor me and eventually I chose him to be my Big Brother. If I had never met Cody I would've never had the amazing college experience that I had.
Courtney Rice

Brooke and Courtney’s friendship blossomed at BGSU through Greek Life. Brooke was in Kappa Delta and Courtney was in Alpha Omicron Pi, but they quickly grew as the best of Panhellenic friends. In college, the two galavanted through the streets of Bowling Green painting the town red (and green!). They enjoying the swings of Tiki, the refreshing iced coffee of Starbucks in the Student Union, and enjoyed late night craft nights and chats together. Even post grad, the two stayed close, and figured out “adulting” together. This is what Courtney had to say about her gal pal, Brooke: “Brooke is one of the most kind and selfless people I know. She has been by my side through thick and thin and I’m so grateful for our friendship.”
