Can I bring a date?

Answer

No, invites are addressed to specific guests. If you're not sure, just ask us!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This wedding is strictly for adults only, absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I take photos and videos of the ceremony?

Answer

No, we are having an unplugged ceremony to ensure phones aren't in the way of the photographer. Once the photographer leaves, take as many photos and videos as you want! Guests will receive an invoice for the photographer if their phone is captured in the professional photos.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

You can park directly at Rock and River! There is plenty of parking for everyone. That being said, I recommend carpooling for the long journey to the High Peaks!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You will need to transport yourself from your lodging to the ceremony site. That being said, you will be required to identify your designated driver if you plan on consuming alcohol, as per the NYS liquor permit regulations.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Clean, neat, and dressed up but comfortable! Our colors are teal & burnt orange, meaning, fall vibes plus teal blue. Picture the landscape of chilly blue mountains surrounded by peak fall foliage, and that's the color scheme!

Does the venue have a policy regarding smoking?

Answer

As per the venue, smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas, not on the porches or decks and never inside.

Question

Does the venue have a policy regarding alcohol usage?

Answer

This wedding is strictly 21+ with no exceptions. For the alcohol permit, we are required to have a "safety and security plan" in place. In order to be served, any guests not staying directly at the venue must identify their designated driver in order to be eligible to receive bar service.
