Year: 2008 Location: Otter Tail, Minnesota The train station was cold and windy. The frost-bitten breeze struck Megan like a knife, cutting right through her flimsy fabric and into her bones. She stared at her ticket and was suddenly warmed by what that piece of paper promised: freedom. Megan never wanted to be an on-call rodeo clown. But she gained an addiction to exotic saltwater fish and they demanded a life she didn’t dream of as a child. It was not until she saw her dear friend, Monty Sockowitz, get impaled by a rodeo cow’s horn that Megan realized she had a tough choice to make. Megan wiped her clown make-up off, drowned her fish of addiction in 100% fresh water, grabbed her coat, and rode a Bird scooter to the nearest train station. She was a small town girl, living in a lonely world. Eric was a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit. Megan had no Idea he was stalking her online and was waiting for a moment like this at the train station to steal a lock of her hair. Eric’s uni-brow made him too insecure to ever think of talking to her. His fear of tweezers that arose from a horrible accident involving a Mall Santa Clause made him incapable of ever finding courage to tweeze his brow. When Megan felt the sheers slice across her perfectly curled locks, she knew something was amiss. She turned around as fast as she could, only to lose herself in Eric’s beautiful eyes even faster. She grabbed him by the back of his head and pressed her luscious lips against his; it was her last, first kiss, and it showed. Eric was shocked by the grip of Megan’s kiss and how perfect this moment was to correct anything. The train disappeared behind the beautiful couple and they couldn’t care less. They finally found love.
