Josh Kell and I were bestest of work buddies in Chicago and shared a deep and profound love of "dance movies" and "not working". On one of our daily trips to Starbucks (to avoid working), he explained how he messed up his best man's speech. I said, "Welp, if I ever get married, you can be my man of honor." BINGO SCHMINGO.

I met Linda at my first job in Chicago and we’ve been the bestest of friends ever since! She lives in Colorado now and introduced me to “The Hollow Valley Deck of Symbols”, (aka: the tarot card deck David used to propose). She's my go-to travel buddy and "sister wife".

I've known Mandy since the FIRST GRADE, but we weren't forever friends till she got in a bike wreck in the second grade and was covered in head-to-toe skinny bandaids ("my Dad couldn't find the big ones"). I held the door open for her on the way to recess and the rest is history.

Heather is an amiga from my Chicago days and a true soul sister. We became super duper close when she became my neighbor in Nueva York! We'd go on daily coffee walks in Brooklyn Bridge Park and she'd hear all about this "amazing guy I met in Missouri". She is beautiful, smart and all kinds of wonderful!

Sloan is Heather's daughter and just the sweetest, funniest, little firecracker on the planet. "The Good Doctor" (as she calls David--it's those DR initials!) and I stayed with her when Heather got her new job in California. We had the best My-Little-Pony-packed time around!

"Stevie G" worked SWAT with David "back in the day". They talk on the phone like teenage girls (i.e. for hours), and he is a wonderful, dip-chewin', ride or die, forever friend.
